How have you planed your Christmas traditions at WDW?

Do you wake the kids to open presents very early and then head out the parks?

Do you not do the parks on that day?

Is there a park you prefer on that day?

Santa still visit you away from home?

How do you pack your gifts, stocking stuff, etc?

Christmas morning breakfast?

Any tips?:santa: Ages of my kids are 16, 15, & 9

Never been there on Xmas day but as far as your question abt the gifts and such I would Fed-X my stuff to the resort I am staying at that way you don't have to worry abt damage and the chance that someone could get into your luggage and find the prize (if you know what I mean).
Have Fun!!

This is going to be our first Christmas at the world but I have teenagers and our plan is to wait until Christmas night to open the gifts. We are going to go to Magic Kingdom, we may regret it with the crowds but we want to try. Have fun:santa:

It is a tradition for us to go on Christmas morning. We open our one gift, then get to the parks by the time they open. If you get there first thing you can get the entire park done in just about three hours. We always have lunch at Crystal palace around 11 or 12 then we go just hang out. It is a very special time in the parks, no crowds first thing and everyone is so happy.

What park are you going to that you get done in 3 hours?

We were at Magic kingdom. There was no one there till about 11 or so. There may of been a ride or two that we did not go on. But yes we did it all. Great time to go. Getting there early is the key.

I think the magic kingdom opens super early on Christmas Day.

My kids are 13 & 9.

At DS9's request, we're having breakfast with Stitch ('Ohana 9am ADR)
and dinner at Chef Mickey's (5pm ADR).

In between, I'm not sure what we're going to try & do.

The week before, we're doing MVMCP, so hopefully we'll have already seen the X-mas shows & parade.

Last year we actually surprised our 3 (12,11,5) with a trip on 12/21 after they came home from school........I had already packed and we left shortly after........I packed a few presents and we took our stockings which I brought fillers for(that included disney $$'s) we told them that we had written a letter from Santa telling him where we would be and the trip was our present to them.......while we were gone, our neighbors put the big presents that were just too large to go with us......they were very excited to come home to presents!
As for parks, once we were out of our room-it felt like any other day at Disney........and it is also my birthday!
We spent a little while at MK, but it was PACKED like you would not believe! After a couple of hours, we went to the Grand Floridian - wandered & ate! The resort was vancant! have a great time!
