Christmas Day at wdw restaurants

We are at Chef Mickey's Christmas day this past year. It looked about the same as any other day. I think some restaurants change, but not all. Maybe someone else will come along with more info.

There really is no traditional Christmas meal as far as I know. Most families have their own special Christmas meal, so restaurants could not possible mirror so many individual choices, Thanksgiving is hte only holiday that I know of that WDW restaurants add a holiday menu. I would choose the restaurant that has the food you crave on Christmas.

Last year we did Liberty Tree Tavern for closest to traditional Christmas dinner on 24th, was a late trip so couldn’t get reservations for 25th

Then did Minnie’s holiday dine at HS on Christmas Day.

Both were same as any other day but turkey was served so it’s Christmas

Usually on the website you can find a list of the restaurants that serve different menus on Christmas Day. They aren't all necessarily the traditional turkey and dressing (which I never eat), but something different ... at maybe a handful of the places. Chef Mickey's has a different carving station during brunch / lunch - for example. Last year it was pork tenderloin, the year before I believe prime rib.

Here is last years Christmas Day menu from WCC. I think there were a few other restaurants that offered a specialized menu for the day, but I can’t remember which ones did.

Thanks for the super replies.
I’m not a traditionalist by any stretch with my eating choices; it was more for dh.

I’ve booked tusker house for a late breakfast/brunch as we both enjoy the food there.

I was wondering about dinner..

OP,
Another poster posted how Disney makes you aware of the special offerings, but I would also note that if you are traveling from one park to another on Christmas Day that you should consider the extra time it takes to move through the crowds and lines. We found it taking at least 2-3 times longer to get around...even to make it to a park exit, grab Disney transportation, process into the next park and make it to your restaurant. It took us around 60 minutes to go from mid-point on Main Street to Afternoon Tea at the GF on Christmas Day. I reserved Afternoon Tea for the family to get away from the crowds...it turned out to be a great choice, very peaceful and turned out to be the best experience of the day...even for two teenage daughters.
