Hi everyone. We are going to be at Disney for two weeks over Christmas this year, leaving on the 26th. We are trying to avoid the craziness by doing mostly non-park things the last part of our trip. Our plan for Christmas day was to spend that morning/early afternoon at our resort just relaxing and then head over to Fort Wilderness to do a tour of the Christmas decorations. Would Christmas be an ok day to do that? Would you reccomend a day time or night time tour? We have a golf cart on reserve already for the 25th...but we could change it to another day if we needed to. Also, will there be any special events or activities at Fort Wilderness on the 25th?

We'll be at the Fort over Christmas. An evening tour would be most interesting to see the lighting effects of the decorations. I haven't seen a schedule of events for the Fort yet. The golf cart parade is usually on Christmas Eve in late afternoon. You may have heard WDW is forcing a tone down of site decorations this year, but it will still be a thing to see.
