Christmas dates advice please!

We were at DLP last December between 6th - 9th when a little bit of snow fell....

And in the afternoon.....

We were there 14th to 17th December last year, I was amazed how quiet it was, no long lines at all. It was cold though, but with thermals, a coat that was like a duvet and hat and scarf and gloves, you really didnt notice it was -5!!!!!! Also bought a snow suit and fur lined boots for ds, great investment.

We stayed at the dlh which was great, it was brilliant to be inside minutes after the park shut.

Saying that we should have been at the Cheyenne on 29th November but flight was cancelled due to snow, our airport, Edinburgh was shut for days. Also our flight home on 17th December was cancelled when we were on our way to the airport. So as christmasy and lovely as it was we would be reluctant to travel late November and December. But that's just after a bad experience and the weather was exeptionally bad last year.

Sure you will have a lovely time whenever you go during the Christmas season, it was a magical trip. :santa:

Thank you for everyone's response, especially the photos .... gives me something to prepare for :santa:

Since the deposits have gone to 10% again I'm back in the game! I have Eurostar on hold and tomorrow will be the day to book :cheer2:

Now for the feedback, completely different to my original planned dates I need to decide between 1-4th Dec and 15-18th Dec :confused3

I know it's only a couple of weeks but what does everyone think would there be any differences that i could plan for (weather aside) potential crowd levels etc ???
