Hi - I know the crowds at WDW are terrible around Christmas. How bad is it at Disneyland? We are meeting my DH's family in LA for a Christmas cruise which leaves 12/23 and we are thinking about flying into LA on 12/21 which would give us about 1 1/2 days at Disneyland. We are working on a special project at work for the next year so I can't get any extra days off to get to LA earlier. Is it worth it to go for a day and a half around Christmas or will it be so crowded we won't really get to do much anyway? Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Sherry

We went to DL at Christmas 2003 and it was crowded, but we were still able to ride quite a few rides. Plus, the decorations and the beauty of Small World's lights and everything else really makes the busy days worth it. Go, and you won't be dissappointed. :wizard:

It's totally worth it. I went on 12/22 last year (my b-day) and though it was crowded, I had a blast, but then I have a blast irregardless of the crowds anyway. DL is so beautiful at Christmas.

We were there from 12/17-12/22 last year. Believe me it was crowded! We were like cattle in that place. My kids were miserable, my husband was miserable, my dad called it Disney Hell! Yeah the decorations would be great if you can enjoy them but if you are not from SC and are on time frames then it is really hard to enjoy it with the crowds. Needless to say we are still going back this December just earlier. And if the only time I was told I could go was when you are going I would probably still do it. But I would definetely be drinking! :confused3
