Christmas Crowds

I see that the Undercover Tourist recommends US or IoA for most of the days around Christmas (https://www.undercovertourist.com/orlando/crowd-calendar/December-2016/). Does that mean the crowds are fine/tolerable, or does that mean it's the best option of a crazy busy time?

In general can anyone who has gone around Christmas (the actual day, or the days just before/after) tell me about crowd levels? Was it more than an hour wait for every ride (even with the express pass) and shops so crowded you can move?

Would the time before Christmas be any better? We don't celebrate Christmas, so we could always fly home that day. Just trying to take advantage of the day off....

Were going from Dec 17-23. I have been at that time before. Crowds building but much better than the days after.

First two weeks of dec not a bad time to go
It is nice and not overly crowded

Once it is about dec 20, crowds grow each day
25th to ny, it is packed

Many families have the kids out of school and do Florida then
