Are you still coming to RI this weekend?

I have a hunch.

It's only a hunch, but it would explain why she hasn't posted in a week.

I could be wrong.

Statistically the odds of my being wrong are very low.

So here's my hunch.

I have a feeling that she knows I want to go to WDW and she's noticed that I don't have a ticker. No tickers means no trips. I have a feeling she's sewing a bajillion GA clothes so she can invite me to come with her at her expense. She's so busy sewing that she doesn't have time to post AND she's afraid if she's posts she'll let slip her plan to surprise me.

Like I said, it's just a hunch.

I have almost finished sewing the entire left leg of my princess jeans. I spent two hours sewing (and sticking myself with pins over and over) this afternoon before I had to stop to get us out the door for Phalen's make-up soccer game.
Tomorrow I'm going to pick up any last supplies I need and then sew sew sew some more!

I know for a fact that Marianne has a new addition to her "sewing room".

I know that his addition to her "sewing room" also nearly caused a car accident. And no, it wasn't because Marianne confused the gas pedal for her sewing machine pedal - FYI - you should never attempt to drive and sew at the same time.

Hopefully she will post pictures for us!

I also know that Marianne is planning for a lot more customs for her trip in 3 weeks!

Annnnd... I also know that Marianne is enjoying her weekend.

So, since I have been informed that my time here is limited, I thought I'd post a couple of pictures for y'all

Here it is, in all its glory - my Singer 401A - Her name is Frannie, after the awesome lady who she used to belong to (I have some pretty cool stuff from Frannie Michelle - a string of pearls, this awesome machine, and some other cool costume jewelry. She was a very cool lady and I'm glad she considered my Mom & I family.

And, here is a shot of my buttonhole attachment:

D~ is going to kick me out for a few days so y'all can see what she's cooked up for me . . . I'll be over at my PTR, waiting for y'all to torture me with teasers of what I can expect in the mail

OK... I love Frannie - she is an amazing machine! And I just love the blue thread you have her threaded with ! If you ever tire of her - you just send her my way - K?

Thanks y'all! I've been busy today - I managed to get both boys Mickey Decoupage jeans ready for sewing (and I did the fronts of P's the other night and that part only took 30 minutes for the front of both legs)! I even started on my Minnie Decoupage jeans and have the front of one leg DONE and ready for sewing. I've switched my decoupage method from pinning each piece to using a small square of Heat n' Bond Lite (I bought the spool of it that you can buy at Wal-Mart for $1.97 and I'm cutting squares from that) in the center of each fabric square. . . goes so much faster and I'm not sticking myself every five seconds with the pins!

I also found a great shirt to go with my Minnie Decoupage jeans on CLEARANCE for $5.00! Although, I have to say, it makes me very sad to know that someone my size is considered an XL in juniors. What are we doing to young girls' body image? I wear a size 6-8 in ladies sizes but an XL in a juniors t-shirt?

So - I don't think I mentioned it, but I went on my first solo trip this weekend. It was my first time EVER away from Sheriff Shortstuff overnight and only my third time away from Mr CA (the other two being a wedding in Mexico and he was home with DH & Mimi and the other when Sheriff Shortstuff was born). So, I'm sure you're wondering what was "important" enough to actually get me to go on a solo trip? Well, my best friend from high school was getting married back home and I couldn't miss his wedding. Yes, you read that correctly, my best friend from high school is a guy. He married a fabulous girl that I love to death and I wouldn't have missed their wedding for the world. I had to share a couple of pictures from their big day - I wish I'd taken more!!! I only ended up with about 70 shots and I'd say maybe 30 of those are print worthy. Lucky for them, I wasn't their wedding photographer
