Cast of character: me, 41, lover of WDW
DH, 42 coverted lover of WDW, never asks why are we going back, just "When".
DS, 16, really fun to be with at WDW, has a great sense of humor! DD, 12, would live in WDW if we let her

We arrived on Monday 12/23 (after a 40 minute delay in Newark) to sunny skies and warm temps. After renting a mid-size car at L&M (275.00 for five days, Mitsubishi Lancer), we are off to the Yacht Club. All I can say is WOW!!! We had visited the Cape May Buffet Restaurant many times over the years, but had never really took in the resorts charm. After a brief check-in at 12:45 pm we are off to room 3225. The view from our Balcony was of the rooftop and then the Dance Hall at Boardwalk. The view was lovely, the room, gorgeous! We were thrilled. We changed clothes, walked thru Epcot (got to love this location) and off to the MK. We got a fast pass for BTMR (DD's favorite) and went of POC (15 minute wait). We then had GREAT burgers at Pecos Bills. Sufficiently stuffed, DD, DS, DH and myself held on to our hats and glasses and enjoyed the wildest ride in the wilderness!

We then decided it was time to "get our of Dodge" and headed back to YC to unpack and decorate our balcony with lights and put up our little tree. We then headed over to MGM to view the Osborne Lights. As always, wonderful!

Next up, Pleasure Island. My son is a budding comedian and loves the Comedy Club there. Once again we were not disappointed (my husband and I both enjoyed the "Heckler" cocktail.

At 10:30 we decided to call it a night. Went "home" to the Yacht Club and fell peacefully asleep with dreams of CP with Gary Sinise tomorrow!!!!

A great start to your adventure - some day I will actually spend Christmas at WDW - thanks for posting!

I really goofed this time. We have a long Christmas break and we should have gone to DW! We could have left on Monday just like you did! We love the Yacht Club and walking over to Epcot and MGM is so nice. Thanks for posting.
