A local garden centre had their 3rd annual Christmas Open House last night.

An evening of free wine, cheese, and baked goods. Decorating demonstrations, carolling, and their showroom transformed into a Christmas Wonderland.

The place was packed with people, and the decorating beautiful, if not a bit overwhelming! :)

We made sure we visited the food and beverage table (huge lineup), but didn't buy one thing!! So unlike me....lol.

A few pics!

Cute snowman!

Thanks, Kim....:D

Thanks for sharing I going to listen to some Christmas music now.::yes:: :wave2:

Thanks, Kim.
I always love your holiday pics. I like the Santa, he looks jolly. Sounds like a fun night out. You didn't buy anything? Maybe it's too early. Bet you got a lot of ideas for holiday decorating.

We planted some more bulbs this weekend and hopefully I'll get the rest in before TG:> It's getting very cold here. Saturday it was 44 degrees for DS's soccer game. I ran (as their coach) more in one day than I have all season just to keep warm.

AC, I had to read your post twice. I was looking for the goldfish tree and couldn't find it, Duh, my brain is still frozen.

I like the goldfish tree best, too! ;)

I don't fill my tree that full, but when I see them done this way I think they look beautiful!

I do agonize over the placement of every single ornament though...lol. :D

A goldfish tree!!!!! now there's an idea..a good friend works for pepperidge farm, we call him the goldfish man.

I have to say that I would have a hard time deciding between the 3 trees, they are all so beautiful. Is that a little snowman all bundled up...he's adorable.

Yes it is, Julie. He's cute isn't he? :)

Speaking of gold fish trees, up at the cottage there's a tree you pass on your way into town, that's covered with old shoes. Running shoes, slippers, boots, a shoe tree! It's been that way for years. There used to be a tree that had lots of those little, yellow, lemon shaped lemon juice containers hanging from it, a lemon tree. :D

Wow those trees are stunning!:sunny:

My favourite is the silver and mauve? tree.:D

Kim which nursery are they at?

LOL I remember that shoe tree...........we used to see it on our way up to our trailer.

Thanks for sharing these.....they are all lovely.::yes::

Great to see you here, sammi! :)

The trees are at Garden Gallery in Burlington. :)

I think I'm ready to go back and actually buy something now! :)

Kim they really are gorgeous!:sunny: DH and I will have to take a jaunt out there and see them.........thanks.:wave2:
