Today brought very overcast skies and the very real threat of rain. Along with this, no set plans for the day. However, being in Disney, there is always something to do.

We decided to get in the car and go off property for breakfast. We found our way to Denny's, not to far from the Crossroads shopping center. I overheard the waiter telling another table that this particular Denny's is the #1 busiest Denny's in the franchise. I wouldn't know that for a fact, but it was crowded, and not only with vacationers.

We headed to DD, in order to get my shopping fix. Every trip has to have a day dedicated to shopping there. This is where I usually buy all my souveniers, etc. However, this time I found myself not buying anything! Imagine that. The kids did get some things, but there was just nothing screaming at me that needed to make the trip out west. We spent a lot of time in the toy store, making potato head pictures and then printing them as well as making the actual potato come to life. The kids were having such a good time, that we bought them 2 boxes of potatos and parts. You sure can fit a lot of parts into the back of the potato! I looked into the new $10 and less store, but was not thrilled with it. We shopped some more and then DH decided we should go to the movies. This did not sit real well with me, but whatever. We saw Christmas with the Kranks, which my kids loved. When we left the theatre, it was apparent he had made a good choice as it had obviously rained quite hard as there were puddles everywhere.

We decide to head over to OKW, which is our home resort in the DVC. Once again I got that peaceful feeling. There was a steel band performing, so we watched them until their set was done. We then had drinks and snacks overlooking the water, while the band did another set. Although I like staying at different resorts, we will be back to OKW for our next trip.

We had PS for dinner at Morocco, so we headed back to the room to freshen up. We headed over to Epcot, where we had a very nice dinner, complete with entertainment. When the belly dancer came out to perform, my DS, who is 5, made sure his Dad had the camera out! I was a bit nervous about the kids eating here, but they had a kids menu with all the regular food on it.

After dinner we watched the British Invasion, who my DH just loves seeing, although this particular time they played some slower music, which I did not like as much. But they were still good. The kids got the last of their passport stamps, and then got the poster for filling the passport up. This they loved. Funny how a poster can make them so happy!

We headed back to the boardwalk, where DD got her hair wrapped. It is something she gets done every trip, so we waited for awhile for her turn. Those hair wraps can stay in for quite awhile, I am amazed.

The night turned out to be clearer than the day, and I sat on the balcony and watched Illuminations yet again. Today was not the most adventurous, but it was a realaxing day, which was fine. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and we are heading back to the MK!
