Friday 12th Day 5 Last Day

Up at 7 again, usual breakfast cereals in our room and at the park for EMH by 8am.

Went to Discoveryland for a few goes of Buzz first and a go of Orbitron. Then over to Fantasyland for a few goes of Peter Pan and Tea Cups.

Back to the HNY for 09:30 for a Character Breakfast on the Empire Floor. Pluto was there when we arrived and stopped for photos. Goofy came out at 10:00 and we were the only one there so he spend lots of time playing and rolling on the floor with DS and DD near the Christmas tree. Pluto came back at 10:30 for some more fun and photos. I left DH with the kids who were playing with Pluto whilst I went to finish packing.

We were out of our room at 11:00 DS decided to dress up as Sully today and DD Aurora.
Went down stairs and there was Pluto all alone at the photo point so we stopped for one last photo and to say goodbye.

We went to the Studios first so James could see Sully at the meet and greet. James loves roaring at Sully pretending to scare him and Sully played along. The studios were very busy.

Left the Studios and went to the main park. DD was dressed as Aurora so we went to the Castle to see the Sleeping Beauty show. DD got a wave and a Kiss but Aurora was not stopping for photos or autographs as the show was every 30 mins. All the rides were really busy so we went to see the Dragon, explored the castle. We found the snoring knight and look at the stained glass windows telling the Sleeping Beauty story. We posed for the sword in the stone photos and DD decided she wanted to watch the Sleeping beauty show again as she loves the dancing and got another kiss and a wave.

We left the castle and noticed the New generation train was coming so we waited watch the train. We went to where we new Woody and Jessie would stand when they got of the train and waited. Woody and Jessie came straight to us and DS got a hug, but DD was elbowed in the eye by a bigger child who pushed his way through. She was so upset so we left the scrum is and went to visit Belle and her prince again at Belles Village instead which cheered her up (along with a choc biscuit which I had in my bag).

All the rides were too busy so we had a go on Alice’s Maze.

We decided to watch the New Generation Showtime spectacular from where the characters go up the stairs I asked where the best place to stand for sully was and the CM was really nice and pointed out the best place to stand. Loads of characters came over to say Hello. Mr incredible was really lovely he kept coming back over to us. Sully noticed DS and came over to say Hello. DS was allowed to go under the rope and was given a huge hug from Sully. Sully spent ages scaring and playing with DS until it was time for him to go on stage then DS came back under the rope. We really liked the show it was good to see Mike and Boo as we had never seen them before.

We headed off to the Studios for the last time to watch SAC. We waited behind the stage near the villain’s car. DD was shouting for Gaston (who she now says is her favourite and we have to listen to his song from the Beauty and the Beast CD all the time) Gaston came over and spoke to her and signed his name in her book again. Sully spotted James as Sully and came over and started playing with him. Half way through the show at the Snow White part the music suddenly stopped and the show cancelled, everyone got in there cars and rode away.

We left the Studios for the last time and made our way to Fontierland for Mickey’s Winter Wonderland show. We only just got in and sat on the last but one row. The show is great we all loved it.

We went over to Woody’s round up and got some pictures of Bullseye and Stinky Pete. It was gone 4pm now so we decided to explore Adventure Isle and the Tree house something we had never done before. We had a great time we saw Captains Hooks ship, went over the rope bridges, explored the caves and went inside Skull rock. Then my worst moment of the holiday DS suddenly run off. I had only turned round for 1 second to speak to DH and he was gone, there were 3 different ways he could have gone so we were running around frantically shouting for him. We reporting him missing after 10 mins with a CM at the tree house and spent a further 15 mins running around like loonies looking for him. It was getting dark and I was frightening he might climb over the ropes and fall into the water. Finally we decided DH was to stay and look for him and I was going to the lost child centre. On the way I asked at a food vendor if they had seen him and he took me to the shop. The lady in the shop had found him walking along by himself he was not worried and did not cry and was happy playing with a Buzz Light-year potato man in the lost child centre.

It was gone and the OAUD parade had started, we raced to Belle Notte and found a spot. I had changed DS out of Sully on the toilet as it is an all in one and is awkward for the toilet. He went in Peter Pan for the journey home. DD got a wave and a kiss from Aurora and Ariel and DS a big Wave from Peter Pan, so they were happy.

DS wanted to say goodbye to Wall-e and Eve before we left so we went to Discoveryland to say goodbye. We though we would see if we could go on Peter pan before we left, via the Fast Pass Lane, but the queue was huge so we did not bother. We explored the Aladdin’s passage instead and stopped off on the shops on Main Street to pick up a Christmas decoration for our tree and a 2010 photo album which had all been reduced to half price.

We went back to the HNY for the last time and drive away around 7pm. The drive back to Calais was straight forward, but it was raining hard so we could not go as fast as we wanted. We missed our check in time for the Euro Tunnel by 5 mins and were only offered a train 1 hour after our time. Which was 11:18? Turns out there were a train broke down in the tunnel and our 10:20 crossed was cancelled so we did not feel too bad.

On the crossing home the kids were asleep and some boys though it would be funny to kept hooting their horns. I got out of the car and told them what I though of them!

We arrived at the Ashford Travelodge very tired, but happy to be back in the UK.

We had a nice lay in the next day and were home by lunch time.

DD somehow broke Mickey’s Leg and Arm off the Christmas decoration she was going to hold very carefully so I now need to get some super glue!

Loved reading your report :) Your holiday sounded great fun! Lol at the decoration incident, our daughter would probably do exactly the same, hope it can be repaired.

It's got me planning full steam ahead now for our trip, thankyou :goodvibes

thanks for your comments - Keep forgetting going to ask DH to add some photos soon.
