Christmas at Hilton Head?

Anyone ever spend Christmas at HHI. I have never been at all but got a ressie for 24-28 Dec. Any information would be a great help.

Yes - we spent the same days there about 3 years ago in a 2 bdr. The unit was great for the 4 of us. Most of the shops and restaurants nearby were closed, but there plenty of other places open on the main drag and in the other plantations. We would definitely do it again. The year we did it, DVC offered a special cash rate for members - something like $139/night for a 2bdr. We are hoping for another offer like that. I think you will find plenty to do, nothing was crowded at all and the weather was much milder than here in VA. Have a great time!

We have been there during xmas week 3 times and many times just for one night on the drive from Boston to WDW. This is our relaxing vacation..the beach is wonderful any time of year and we have been there with weather in the 60s and once in the 30's with gloves and hats needed! The main pool is heated, and the hot tub is also, but only DS ventured into water. Resort has lots of activities that week..we have gone to the oyster roast at the beach house and others. We have found a nice side trip to Beaufort was wonderful..historic and picturesque or venture furhter into Savannah. Have fun!

My partner and I will be there at the same time.....checking in on 12/23 and out on 12/28. We are really excited about spending a very relaxing Christmas at one of our favorite places.

Now, lets both wish for warmish weather!
