Alright so if you take your kids to Disney for Christmas do you buy them other presents? Give them just a stocking with the usual items, or give them some spending money? How do you do Christmas presents in Disney? :confused3

I think this would depend on what you want to do.

Maybe you could bring a special gift for everyone and then open it up under the tree at Magic Kingdom on Christmas day. Or after the kids go to sleep put the presents on the table with a big Mickey stuffed animal and when they wake up make a big deal that Santa came to your room while you were at Disney and delivered your presents.

A friend of mine brought the kids stockings and had them filled with presents and then added items that the kids pointed out that they wanted.(She went back and purchased them on the sly) Then when everyone woke up the stockings were filled and hanging off the chairs in their room.

We are arriving on Christmas eve day and having a tree from the WDW florist delivered. I am going to fill stockings like normal and then give them each (3 children) a decent digital camera on Christmas morning. They are aware that they are only getting one gift under the tree this year for Christmas (that's how I worded it). (We will continue our family traditions for Christmas eve - as if we were home.) However, they don't know that actually they are getting a present under the tree on each of the 9 days we are there. We are not in real "reality" when at WDW, so why shouldn't everyday be like Christmas? It may not always be in the morning but it will always be under the tree. They know they are getting spending money but they don't know how much and that it's going to be a pre-paid credit card (another surprise). This doesn't include the few new clothes and shoes they will be getting as well. The children do know that this trip will be sprinkled with many different surprises. That's the most they are getting out of me and they are LOVING the anticipation.
We are sooooooooooooooo excited because we have been saving for this huge vacation (ever since Feb. of 2004) and we are in the final stages. This is starting to get fun. Christmas is ALWAYS a HUGE deal around here, so why shouldn't it be as well at WDW.
Hope you have a great trip!
