Hi, Just Booked 17 nights at Disney for Christmas :santa: 2007 and new year period,, Has any one been this time of year and could you share some tips with us..
We are a family of 4, from the UK, Visited last year in September loved it so much coming back for MORE!!!

We think we are going to take up the Dinning Plan, any tips on that over Christmas..

Where to go or stay away from Christmas Day??

How About New Years Eve..

Oh so many questions Im getting excited just thinking about it.

We are staying at All Stars Movies by the way...

Be great to hear from you all..................xx:woohoo:

I've never been during Christmas but it sounds wonderful!! :thumbsup2
And since its Disney so you really can't go wrong!!!
Have a great trip! :cool1:

You will have a great time, here are a few do's:

Go see Osbourne Family Spectacle of Lights at MGM in the evening, it is beautiful and it "snows."

See the Christmas edition of Illuminations at Epcot, DF thinks it is so much better than the regular show.

Catch Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party at MK and parade is amazing!

Make your ADR's soon!!

Go to Pleasure Island/West Side at DTD for New Years Eve.

See the decorations at all the parks and take lots of pictures!

If you have time check out decorations at different resorts, especially Boardwalk.

Take a carriage ride at Ft. Wilderness - great for a couple or a family!

Most of all have fun, enjoy the atmosphere and family time and try to not let the crowds get to you, you will have a blast! :thumbsup2

We went during Christmastime 2 times. It is truly the best. When we went 2 yrs ago it got quite cold out. So you will want to bring sweatshirts & long pants. In the afternoon it would warm up nicely & we would go in the resort pool. The resort pools are all heated.

And take lots of pictures. It really helps when you get home to have tons of pictures to look at. Take pictures of the decorations at the resorts & parks. It really is fun to look at them all later.

Enjoy!!!

:santa: My DH and I will be going from Dec. 18th through Jan. 1st. Which dates are you going to be there? Feel free to check our my TR. Maybe you'll get some ideas. :santa:

Here are some tips, from what we've learned:
- Go to MVMCP
- Visit the deluxe resorts to see how they are decorated
- Visit MGM for the Osbourne Light Show
- Visit the Candlelight Processional in Epcot
- Epcot does Christmas Around the World, with Santa Clauses in each country, sharing how each country celebrates the holidays
- WL does sleigh rides and POR/POFQ do horse/buggy rides

That's all I can think of, right now. I can't wait to hear more about your trip planning. :goodvibes
