We are at Universal over Christmas and New Year's and planning to have tickets for the parks as well as Volcano Bay and Sea world. We were thinking of not doing parks either Christmas day or NYE as I would assume it is overcrowded. Any ideas of a good place for Christmas dinner? And any ideas for something fun (kid friendly) NYE? We were thinking of doing Sea World on Christmas eve day or NYE day, any ideas on which would be best? Looking for any suggestions on dining over the holidays. :santa:
Thanks for any advice, parks outside of disney are not my knowledge base but we are needing to amp up the learning curve as all the kids love HP and are looking forward to Nintendo. :lovestruc So looks like we may be seeing more of Universal in our future.

We have been to Disney/Universal 10 times in December for about 2 weeks each time.

3 of those times were over the actual Christmas break. At Universal we found that the all out craziness actually started on the 26th.

Dec. 24th & 25th were very busy, but not the busiest days we saw. The 26th to 28th were as busy as we've ever seen Universal. Not sure if this helps your planning, but I doubt it will be less busy the days following Christmas day.

Thank you, that does help. We are staying at Portofino Bay the first part of our trip so will have Express Pass at least through the 28. After that we are at Cabana Bay for the kids as they liked the pool there.
