I have lost count of how many times I went to Disney growing up (I can't believe I have lost track how sad)!!

Catching up I know there have been 5 trips since planning for my WDW wedding back in 2005. Venues trip Sept 05 - CSR, Cake/Colors/Flowers Planning Trip Feb 06 - Poly, Wedding at the Pavilion June 06 - GF/CR, Dec/Jan 06/07 - CSR, Pregnant W/Bella March 08 - Poly, Bella's 1st Bday June 09 - POP (July 09 1st trip to Disneyland)!

So that is my background on WDW trips, now on to the good stuff...

Ok so we are hoping for a better winter then last year (meaning not so much SNOW...we were buried in it on Christmas day and BARELY made it over to my parents house, and they live 6 houses down the street!!!) so the drive will be ok.

Also I am trying to leave a lot of down time in our schedule, bc DH loves to swim (is it too cold to swim in Florida in DEC?) and relax. He is not a go-go-go person (I can go either way)! And with 2 little ones its probably a good idea to sleep in, have naps, and relaxation time. Plus we've been down during this time b4, I don't feel pressured to make sure I hit everything. In 06 we went to Epcot for New Year's Eve and were there from 6am to 12:30am. We had a blast but were soooo exhausted and the park is jam packed. I waited over 45 minutes in line for the BATHROOM!! That's why I decided not to do the parks on the Eve this year! I hear the GF does a balloon drop at midnight (anyone do this or hear about it), and that you can see the MK New Year's fireworks really well from the beach at Poly (anyone do or hear about this)...

Well that's it for today. I will post some pics from our 06/07 Christmas/New Year's Trip later and post the ADR's...I am still waiting on one (my Disney TA was working on it bc I made a last minute change and she hasn't gotten back to me on it yet, crossing my fingers)!!

Bumping my own thread :rotfl:

Anymore readers?? :worship: I'm just so excited to share!!:yay:

Ok so here's a pic of balloons netted high up to the ceiling of GF back on our '06 trip...anyone experienced this New Year's Eve event at the GF? I am just trying to find out what exactly happens, maybe
we'll go there since we aren't doing the parks that day?!

Sounds like a good schedule, with lots of downtime for the kids. When we took our boys in May, we were surprised at how little we did everyday. We did lots of naps and swims and the parks in small doses. It was actually a lot of fun that way, since we were well rested at the end of the trip.

I'm in, sounds like a fun trip! And your daughters are adorable! :)

HI!!! I followed you over from another Christmas PTR! We are going to WDW on Dec 11th!! I have a PTR if you want to join in as well!

I am so excited to follow your planning. Your kids are adorable!!! :lovestruc

Just made my last ADR, so I am ready to post our plans for dining!
We are on the dining plan.

Tuesday, December 28
Dinner at 50's Primetime Cafe

Thursday, December 30
Breakfast at Crystal Palace
Dinner at The Plaza Restaurant

Friday, December 31
Breakfast at Chef Mickey's
Dinner at Ohana's

Saturday, December 1
Dinner at Le Cellier

We will be having quick service meals for the dates not included so that we can double up on table service on a couple days. I am very excited for our Pooh and Mickey character meals!! :yay: It will be nice to get some photos of Bella with them without waiting in lines in the parks. Now I'm just wondering how she'll react. She thinks her uncle (DH's little brother) is Diego and is terrified of him. Then my sister just got back from a trip to WDW and bought Bella a big stuffed Buzz, and she wanted nothing to do with him at first. We all had to show her he wasn't scary. Soooo it will be definitely interesting!

Kammie:wizard:

:welcome: BippityBoo! I love reading all the Christmas PTRs!! It makes it so much more exciting, and the long wait seem not so far away.

Your ADR's look great! I LOVE Crystal Palace and Le Cellier! Le Cellier is a must do for me, and it looks like Crystal Palace is becoming one too! :cool1:

Hi! I'm joinin in too.popcorn:: Great PTR so far and congrats on your ADR. You have a cute family. We're going to WDW 11/28 - 12/4. It's fun reading about other people's vactiona plans.:upsidedow

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend, Happy 4th!!

So I thought I would post a picture of Bella watching fireworks in our backyard...
She loved doing snaps/pops, but didn't care for the big fireworks b/c of the loud boom (uh oh...I plan on watching lots of fireworks on the trip)! :rotfl:

232323232%7Ffp538%3A7%3Enu%3D3384%3E66%3A%3E%3A97%3EWSNRCG%3D32%3C%3A628299344nu0mrj

And here is a picture of Bella going to her 1st movie, TOY STORY 3 of course!
She loved it!! She sat so nice in her own seat and ate TONS of popcorn, almost the whole large bucket all on her own (no kidding)!! popcorn::

232323232%7Ffp537%3C6%3Enu%3D3384%3E66%3A%3E%3A97%3EWSNRCG%3D32%3C%3A6282%3A6344nu0mrj

Up next some pics of purchases I have started making for the girl's vacation wardrobe!

Question: The last time I was in Florida in December was 4 years ago, and I wasn't thinking of kids at the time. What is the weather normally like? I plan on doing some swimming, what do you think?? THANKS!

Hold on for the pics i will edit it in a minute PC is driving me crazy, switching to mac!!

Just saw a commercial for Big Brother...anyone watch? I am addicted, super excited!!

Ok so I thought I should do as much planning and posting as I can now bc I know things will start to get busy soon. I have been a 1st grade teacher for the past 4 years and this year I am switching to Kindergarten. I have so much to prepare b4 school starts so I can continue a few more week of maternity leave with Meika.

Here are my purchases for Meika so far...
I thought I should purchase swimsuits since I know Meika would need one for 6 months, they are on sell now, and also can you even find swimsuits in stores in Nebraska in December? I also got her a cover up, and mickey onesie from old navy - I hope it fits in DEC, the hat she also already had from her aunt :thumbsup2

232323232%7Ffp538%3A7%3Enu%3D3384%3E66%3A%3E%3A97%3EWSNRCG%3D32%3C%3A62829%3B344nu0mrj

Bella's...
2T bikini, the one she has now for this summer is size 18-24 months so in case she doesn't fit into it in December, a minnie mouse shirt from Target for $5 (so glad she is into minnie mouse now from MMCH, bc I am so done with diego repeats), she already had the cinderella shirt which I love but I did buy the purple leggings from Target also today for $2, the hat she had already from Dis from her aunt on another visit...bummed to not find a Jessie shirt in her size at Old Navy :headache: oh well...

232323232%7Ffp53836%3Enu%3D3384%3E66%3A%3E%3A97%3EWSNRCG%3D32%3C%3A6282%3A4344nu0mrj

And lastly here is a picture of our itinerary. It has our ADR's, the plans I posted earlier for each day, and maps for driving...may add more later?!

232323232%7Ffp537%3C6%3Enu%3D3384%3E66%3A%3E%3A97%3EWSNRCG%3D32%3C%3A6282%3A3344nu0mrj

Better go to bed now, feeding ducks at the duckpond and picnic at the park tomorrow. I will post some pics of past trips tomorrow!

Goodnight
Kammie :wizard:

Your girls are too cute!

I love your ADRs. I think I am going to try for all of those on our next trip. :thumbsup2

We were there this past Jan with 2 little ones. I am assuming Dec will be similar. The weather can be ALL OVER the place. We wore shorts and tees some days and long pants and sweatshirts on others. You need to pack everything. Oh and we did fit in swimming. The pool was warmer then the air but I couldn't keep DD out. :woohoo:

Joining in! Your girls are sooo cute! I love Port Orleans-Riverside. I will miss it this trip, but I know my daughter and I will enjoy POP!

Can't wait to read more!
