Christmas and dining..

Quick question - my brain isn't in full gear yet this am...

If we're staying onsite Dec30-Jan6/08, have AP's, we can add Dining on, right?

$39/adults and $11/day for kids to whatever our room cost is...correct?
Or do I have to pay rack, and have ticket pkg too..??

Wait...no, it's only if we are renting DVC that we can just ad on Dining- we do have to have the 1 day minimum ticket pkg, don't we, for any other resort room..

I'm not caffeinated enough yet

The only way to get the Disney Dining Plan is to purchase a package through Disney. You will pay rack rate for the room and be required to purchase tickets as a part of the package. You can't just add the DDP to your stay.

All guests staying in your resort room will be required to purchase the same ticket and the dining plan for every night of your stay. Except for children under the age of three. They do not need a ticket, nor do they need to purchase the dining plan. They can eat from your plate. If you order them food, you will be required to pay for it. Buffets are free for children under the age of three.

If you are a DVC member staying at a DVC resort on points, you can add the DDP by contacting MS. It's the same price for DVC members as for other guests. Except when free dining happens. No free dining for DVC members staying on points at DVC resorts.

Paying rack rate is technically only true for free dining - the ZFZ code (booking date ended 3/15) was offered for 40% off room portion and you could add tickets and/or DDP for the regular price.
