I did some calculations and found out that the price at POP Century with dining plan, 10 MYW tickets and airplane tickets would be around $5200.

If I rent BWV points at $11 each with dining plan and 10 day tickets and airplane tickets the price comes out to about $5140.

Did I do a mistake because this seems too good to be true?

Do I still get the EMH perk if I rent points?
If I do decide to rent, can I get my tickets, dining credits, and room key in one card? Or would the dining plan and theme park tickets be on separate cards?

Dining credits and room key should be in one card, but I'm not sure about the tickets. They should be, but I am an AP owner, so I've not run into that situation yet.

If you buy your tickets from Disney, they can put it all on one card. Have fun!:thumbsup2

You're probably looking at around $2200 +/- for those dates in a studio at BWV. Plus tickets, dining & airfare. Renting is a great deal, if you can find the right person to rent from and you trust them enough. You will have no control over your reservation, you won't be able to call MS and confirm or call to make requests. You'll want to find someone to rent from almost a year out and that owner/member will need to own at BWV so they can make the ressie at 11months. There are several threads on the DISboards about renting you should read before doing it.

To answer your other questions: Yes, you'll still be able to take advantage of all onsite guest perks, including EMH and ME. The owner/member you rent from would set up ME and DDP. You will pay for DDP when you check in. You will buy your tickets, and yes they can be added to your KTTW card (even if you bought them somewhere else).

I think the price you are expecting to pay is too low for Christmas time. DVC owners who will reserve these rooms to rent out will likely ask more per point for bookings at Christmas time. Are you basing your price on Standard Room or Preferred? Likely you won't get Standard Room, so base it on the preferred points value.

And with changes to booking reservations, you may have problems staying in same room for the entire stay.

You should tack on at least a few extra hundred dollars.

Just for your budgeting information :)
