Christmas 2008: A Rainy Christmas Day at WDW is Better than a Sunny Day at Home!

Wow

Thank you for your report. I just read everything in one sitting. Your photo's are beautiful. I really enjoyed them. You guys make such a cute couple.

Thanks again and enjoy your day!:goodvibes

This is the first TR that I've read (mostly because I catch them so far into the story). You told yours all in one full swoop... so thanks. :thumbsup2

I love how you guys just pop off to Disney World like that. As I read, I told DBf we need to do that more often.

About your note about Beaches and Cream, you should definitely try the Kitchen Sink next time. The sheer joy and memory of it is worth the money. A few years ago, I went with a friend and her family and we got it. Four of us could barely even dig in, but it is delicious. :lovestruc And the whole restaurant cheered us on. It's something I recommend everyone do.

As always, your photos are stunning!!! I've never done Christmastime, so it was great reading your TR.

I always am concerned that I'm writing too much, so I hope I included the perfect amount of detail without dragging on the story too long. I always write out the trip report beforehand in Word, and it ends up being about 10 pages, single spaced. I'd rather just do it that way and have it in a more presentable format. Thanks for reading it!

Thanks; enjoy your day (what's left of it), too!

Your pictures are beautiful, and you've inspired me to stay a little later in the park. I enjoyed your report, thanks for sharing your trip with us.

No, in fact, more detail is always better. Haha. Typing it in Word is a good idea. I guess it gets the ideas out quickly. I'll have to try that if I ever do a TR.

Thank you for sharing your trip and photos again! You can capture the beauty of the park like no one else. I like your photography even better than many of the postcards and such you can buy at the World. I've never been at Christmas, but I want to experience it in the worst way. Especially after seeing it captured so beautifully by you. And I always search for your photography in the POTD thread, so please keep posting and don't feel excluded!

Thanks for the trip report. I really enjoyed it. Your pictures are so wonderful!! I love, love the ones after it rained. They really did turn out beautiful. Your fiance' (or is she your wife now) is really pretty. I am going to Disneyworld with my DBf in May .... are the pictures of the two of you taken from a tripod? Is it a really compact one that you can carry easily? I would like to take pictures of us but obviously, it's tough when there's only two of us.

Anyway, thanks for sharing!! :)

Thanks--we do use a compact travel tripod for our pictures. It's called the Velbon Luxi SF. (I am actually looking to upgrade, so if you're interested in buying it, let me know!).

Great report and your photos are stunning. I love the main street photos they just make me want to be there.

WDWFigment, I just wanted to tell you I really enjoyed your TR and especially the photos! I really liked your "Partners & Icicle Castle Dream Light Bokeh" photo. I was wondering what lens you were using to get such nice bokeh? Thanks!

How are you getting all those shots of the two of you together - I assume you are using a tripod - if so, what kind and have you ever had trouble using it in the parks (I would be scared of people walking by, knocking it over, etc)

thanks for the info!
