Christina & Geancarlo PJ (10/4/08) WP&GF: Planning 5 year Anniversary back at GF

Ok back to the TR

Well now we are on the road and we haven’t eaten yet so we stop at Mc. Donalds to get lunch, well I just LOVE their chicken mc Nuggets so of course that’s what I got… and Dixie is always sniffing the bag- so I took maybe 3 fries and put them in a napkin to let out some grease and I fed them to her…

The whole 3 hour trip I kept bothering Alexis.. she was sleeping on my mom and I decide to tickle her nose and mess her hair.. she got so mad at me she says “ you are so immature and your getting married, leave me alone”

All I could do was crack up hysterically…
During our drive we kept getting phone calls from family asking ‘where we were, what are you doing, when are you getting to GF?’

We finally made it to Kissimmee… WE head to Epcot to drop poor little Dixie at the kennel.. my mom doesn’t like going in b/c she starts to cry so my mom waits outside for us to finish… WE got Dixie a GREAT package, they walk her, cuddle time, play time and ice cream time… they are so good at the Epcot kennel and we TRUST them.. We got Dixie’s report card back and she did GREAT A++++

I didn’t know that when I dropped Dixie off that I wouldn’t see her for 2 full weeks after that.. After we finished dad and I went to guest relations to renew our DDE card, now its called Tables of Wonderland. While we were getting the card, one of the groomsmen came right behind me he was heading to Epcot with his girlfriend.. we said hello and talked for awhile and then we headed to the van and went straight to check into the GF…

We were so excited, I can’t even begin to tell you… we all have dreamed of staying at GF and it finally was here…
Dad drives into the gate and says Hello, we are checking in… Lex and I started to scream with joy”
Dad look at us and says in Spanish (translation) Girls, behave what are you in Hialeah” (inside joke)

We pull in and that’s when my mom Lex and I started to get all giddy… dad starts tickling me and I couldn’t contain myself..

My dad pulls the car into valet and immediately we had bell service assist us. Dad and Lex checked in and mom and I stayed behind.. We had 4 huge caddy’s

The guys all were so helpful and they all congratulated me on my wedding..
Mom and I went to meet Dad and Lex and I got teary eyed.. I just love it here

We waited for them to finish checking in..
Lex runs up to me and says PIXIE DUST, we got an upgrade to a suite… We were in the Boca Chica building…room 8314..

We started walking to our room
And we finally open the door and we were greeted with a Mickey towel

I immediately started taking pictures

I open the balcony door and this is our view

I can't wait to read more!!!! .....Oh, and I totally got the Hialeah thing that your dad said!!! (Hialeah = Agua, Fango, y Factoria! lol)

Love your report! I really think roles do reverse with siblings. Everyone tells me that I am the "older one" even though I am the middle and that my older sister acts a lot younger.

Love your report so far Christina! What a nice upgrade :. The GF is our very favorite resort; we just love staying there. I'm glad you and your family enjoyed it as well.

Oh, and the picture of your furbaby standing on the steering wheel is precious!

What a woderful surprise upgrade you got the first day. The view is great. One day I plan on staying that the GF, I told my DH for our 25th we are getting our vows renewed at WDW and staying there. Let's just keep my fingers crossed it all works. I have 13 years to save up.

Cont. of Day 1…

So the car pulls up to valet and we all head in the van.. A van that is now empty.. I sit in the back with my mom and Lex is now co- pilot..
We drive over to the Yacht Club, and Lex and I walk into the hotel, dad for some reason was, I think trying to find something in the van I don’t know, but Lex and I couldn’t wait so we headed to the hotel.. We called our cousin Carrie (BM) in Jersey and was telling her to hurry up and get here…

We headed over to Yachtsman Steakhouse and you can smell the vegetarian goodness. Lol

While we were waiting mom and dad finally showed up and it only took 10 minutes to seat us

So we decided to pass the time by taking pics

The waitress calls us and seats us at our table…
We ordered our drinks and Lex made a toast for the wedding

I don’t know why we didn’t take pictures, and I don’t know why I was a vegetarian that night either
I had the mushroom ravioli which BY FAR AMAZING

And for dessert, the waiter gave me this for the wedding

Sorry I don’t remember what we all ordered.. I think I got something with bananas and chocolate and dad all chocolate…

After dinner, we were so stuffed, dad and I were exhausted and lex wanted to walk around.. Well we head back to the Grand and I showered and passed out in bed.. Dad and Mom went to be as well.. Alexis stayed up doing her own thing and at 1am.. the entire family was snugged in their beds while visioning of Disney parks and Mickey Mouse dancing in their heads

Love the update. Can I tell you another thing too, I love you and your sister's eye makeup. I usally only wear eyeliner and mascara because I don't know how to put on shadow but I so love how it looks.
