Christina Aguilera?

Is anyone a fan of Christina Aguilera? Her new album came out today. It is one of the best new albums I have heard in awhile. The album is 20s, 30s, and 40s era inspired and at times really does sound like it is coming out of those years. She sings about many personal issues on it and sounds as wonderful as ever. She has such an amazing voice in my opinion.. I think what she is doing with her music is so much better than other musicians her age releasing albums soon such as Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton. I think Christina is a true artist, and I suggest you go out and give her new album a listen! Just my two cents

I bought it today and I love it! I've been a fan of hers since "Stripped." Christina can actually sing-- she doesn't need ProTools to fix her voice or depend on lipsyncing for her "live" performances. She's one of the few truly talented singers recording today.

I would hardly call Paris Hilton a musician...or talented...

I have been a fan of Christina since her first album, but I agree that on Stripped she really blossomed and showed her true self as a musician

And yes, I must admit Paris's new single is catchy, but she doesn't have much of a voice and not much talent.

Yes, a fan of Christina's, but I think some of the songs on the new album are going to have to grow on me a little - although most albums are like that for me. I've never bought an album and loved the whole thing immediately.

I just think it's hilarious that - within the circle of hot young signers from a few years ago - Christina has emerged as the smart, classy one with a stable marriage and her head scrwed on straight.

I dunno, I just read the gossip about it the other day because he's being a big baby about it. He's got cred though - he worked on Paris's album too!!

Fair enough...I'm just repeating the gossip from the fanboards, which have included several accounts of him sticking his foot in his mouth recently. And that popular music happens to include Paris Hilton, as I noted, which, regardless of what the rest of his resume reads, still makes me chuckle.

He was (may still be who knows) dating Paris so that could be where that came from, but he is more than qualified so don't judge him on that.

The S.S. does stand for Scott Storch. He wrote a lot of tracks on her last album, Stripped and they became very close friends. She invited him to work with her on this latest album, and he made all these demands such as she has to send a plane out to get him, the plane must have champagne and all this stuff on it, she has to pay for a bodyguard for him, etc and she was taken aback by how fame had changed him (in 2002, when Stripped was released, he had not reached his current success) and they had a big fight and I guess that is where the song emerged!

He just worked with Paris Hilton and Brooke Hogan on two songs I think are crap... definitely a downgrade from Christina!

Also, whoever asked about the album... it's half and half. Some of the songs are slow and some make you get up and dance! There's kind of something for everyone
