It's looking like testing for entry into Canada will be abolished altogether for the fully vaccinated starting March 31st.

Well wouldn't that be nice... and after March breaks all round. Though it does conflict with the cruise testing that was announced. Any way! Fingers crossed.

On Monday the Minister of Transport announced that for cruises you need a PCR test 72 hours before boarding a ship in Canada or an antigen taken 1 day prior, and when your cruise disembarks in Canada you must be tested before getting off (some of the rules were confusing/left more questions than answers) so we are assuming this second set of tests will be done onboard the day before the cruise ends (if it ends in Vancouver)?? Also you must quarantine if you test positive in Canada and it sounds like the cruise line will arrange accomodations (but not pay for them). Honestly still a lot up in the air and if they are ending testing come the end of this month why all the rules around JUST cruising??
