Chris Jansing, one of the MSNBC and NBC news correspondents, came to our office and did interviews tonight.
The story was about how active the Bush/Cheney '04 volunteers are in Arkansas. They may run the story during the convention.
We had about 100 volunteers - pretty good for a Wedneday night. I had just gotten in the yard signs and my volunteers put together over 1000 signs for me tonight. We had 3 teams of volunteers out walking neighborhoods and about 35 people making phone calls.
I help coordinate the volunteers for my county and have been amazed at how many people turn out - especially the young adults and older teens.
Kerry seems to have abandoned Arkansas - they are running no ads and my sister (who is a Democrat) can't find any volunteer work to do. Which is very strange as this is still a very Democratic state.
