Hey everyone
i was just sat wondering what to do at the weekend (i know its only Monday) when i remembered i do chores on the weekend.

does anyone else do chores?

When i do my chores i always think of what i getting out of doing chores and there was more to it than i thought.
I have to tidy the bathroom and my sister sian has to do the bedroom, we swap every week.
We get a clean bathroom and bedroom every week and to top it all off i get a months pocket money.

If i dont do my chores i dont get pocket money

but seriously i dont mind getting up with daniel or bathing him(apart from when he gets the floor wet and starts splashing water everywhere)

yes good point and we do get paid £10 a month

I notice you didn't mention either that the bathroom you clean is 'your' bathroom.

Think yourselves lucky I don't make you wash Gary's smelly socks

you are both very good girls for doing your chores - I wish someone paid me for mine. and the more you do them the smaller and easier they'll seem (then Mum can add afew more to the list )

Hi

I used to get £5 a week to help around the house. I hated all the chores. I used to do a little Friday night before going out i.e bathroom, hoover up stairs and down stairs, go out Sat day and night. Sun morning I would wash my dads car and that be it. Spreading it out was good, so I saw my friends as well. Like you I hated it, but when I went to Florida I had my own spending money that I had earnt. It all pays off then

As Claire said at least you get paid for it now. Like me at the moment I have to put some more washing on and do some ironing. I am trying to forget
