What should I do?

We are planning for trip in August of 2009- but since we can book the rooms in the next couple of months a needed an idea of which one to choose.

We are taking my in-laws to wdw for their 30th wedding anniversary and we are military so money is an issue. We stayed at Shades of Green last summer and absolutely loved it- but it didn't have the DDP available. We want to use the DDP this time around since our oldest son will be a teenager and he already eats us out of house and home so we figured the buffets would help out a lot in costs. Since there are 8 of us going we will have to either rent 2 rooms or one 2 room villa. We want to make this a memorable experience for them and were looking at either POR, POFQ for the moderate or any of the 2 room villas. It will be a little more than a 2000 difference in the prices for the moderate and the villas.

If you were trying to budget for 8 what would you choose? Thank you !!

I would do the POR or POFQ Very nice resorts. I can't comment on the villas as we have never stayed in them. I think the PO resorts would be better if you are on a budget. The pools are great and so is the food court. We enjoyed the boat ride from POR to Down Town Disney.
Tell your resort and the restuarants you are eating at the you are celebrating your Inlaws 30th Wedding Anniversary, they will make a fuss over them.
