Need to make a choice. To save some money I ran numbers.

I can stay at All Star Movies in a preferred room with Quick Service Dining Plan & 2 base tickets for about $2057

OR

I can stay the same length of time at Pop Century, preferred room, dinning plan and 2 base tickets for about $2151

OR

I can stay at POFQ Garden View with 2 day base tickets NO dining plan for $2062

We will have a car. We have stayed at FOFQ several times and POP once but not since the room refurbs. Never stayed at any All Star. We are adults with no kids. I like the idea of having a dining plan but I love the smallness and quietness of POFQ. We really disliked POP but we had a bad room location and the rooms were so small and dingy but the refurbs look very nice now.

HELP me decide PLEASE!

I would always stay at a moderate, and our experience has been the Dining Plan is too restrictive and we never save money using it. Out of pocket (if you can overcome the sticker shock) is always less expensive for us.

I think you'll probably be happiest at POFQ. However, I'd be sorely tempted by POP as I am wishing with all my might that the gondolas are open by September. It'd be hard for me to not go with the direct transportation to two parks. However, POFQ has their own buses, right? And only one bus stop? If that's true, I could probably suck it up for only two park days.

I liked the refurbed rooms as ASMo. Not sure if I'd pick them for a trip with DH. For sure if it was just me and one of the boys.

We actually will be in the parks at least 4 days. I have a non-expire 1 day ticket for each of us already and we are doing the MNSSHP one day.
Do the Pop rooms seems quieter with the refurb? I just remember our only stay there. It was 1 might and is was so dark and dingy and you could barely open up the bathroom wide enough to get in. And the long walk to the main building but this trip would be a preferred room location. I also remember lots of pest control trucks outside in the parking lots which gave me heebie jeebies.
I do really like the clean fresh look of the rooms now though. And their gift shop and food court is very appealing. Gondolas being open would be a huge plus.

I would do POFQ. We’ve only visited the resort once and thought it was quiet. If anything, I think the removal of the carpet at pop might make those room louder.

I've only stayed at POP for one night but I could always hear the family in the room next to ours but I loved the remolded room compared to our stay in the Little Mermaid rooms. I can't speaks for Movies as I've only stayed at Sports.

I have not stayed at POP since the renovations, but I have heard others say that the rooms became louder when they replaced the carpeting with laminate flooring.

We personally find that we do not save money with the dining plan, nor does it make our trip seem any easier or less stressful, so we have no reason to get it unless it's offered free, and even then we still pay out of pocket for things because the plan is just not set up for people who eat the way we eat. (We do not have a dessert with every meal and we mostly drink water. But we do like to get extra sides, or just sides & appetizers, or something like that.)

We love POR/POFQ. Really love it. So given all you've said, and the options you are considering, I'd go with POFQ and no dining plan if it was me. :)

I've stayed at Pop after refurb and at POFQ. This is a tough decision. I really liked Pop a lot. In fact, we are returning Friday. We chose Pop again mainly because I have three boys with me, 8, 9 and 10, and they will love the statues and theme of Pop. I love POFQ, but Pop had more appeal for this trip, plus we got free dining. We did not hear any noise the whole time we were at Pop. We were on the third floor. We really enjoyed the refurbed rooms.

Pop because the new rooms are great, parking will be less per night and you included food in the total.
