Chocolate Fountain for Teenager party?

Forgot to mention...I know you don't think you're going to eat 5 lbs of chocolate, but if that's what your machine says it needs to run the thing, then you need to use that much. Otherwise the chocolate barely drips off the tiers rather than flowing beautifully over them. Unfortunately, chocolate fountains do waste a lot more chocolate than fondue pots. The thing will look empty at the end of the night and you'll still end up with 1-2 lbs left over.

The leftovers always gross me out. There will be crumbs, germs from kid's licking their fingers, etc...but I've had many brides ask me to pour it into a rubbermaid container so they can use it for chocolate covered strawberries later.

It holds up to 2 pounds of chocolate. I can always melt more if needed.

I have 3- 12oz packages of chocolate chips (2 are semi-sweet, 1 is milk chocolate) plus a partial bag of semi-sweet and a partial bag of dark chocolate chips.

I got this one :

Plus I have multiple bags of partial Wilton Candy Melts that I could intermix with the chocolate.

The Wilton melts work great, and you don't need to add any oil. You can find them at Joanns or mitchels with a coupon. Just for ease I would do all Wilton melts and save the regular chips for baking
