I had kinda planned on this restaurant based in part on the unoff 2006 book saying they offered chocolate fondue for dessert. (my kids LOVE fondue) Does anyone know if they still offer this? We will be going in DEC, and would like to decide if we are going to want to stick with this restaurant.

 Chocolate Fondue! That might be a reason to book that restaurant if it is still offered!

no, that was the dessert in 05, before they changed the menu back to a closer semblance of what it used to be.

clear as mud?

now it is Vanilla Bread Pudding with Baileys Hard Sauce

Only my dh liked the bread pudding. Its something on the order of the Crystal Palace one if you have ever had it there. My ds said yuck and I asked the server to bring them both the make your own cupcake that I read about here. They are teens but they really enjoyed it and had fun decorating their cupcakes. My dh and I have had the chocolate fondue that is at the Grand Floridian Cafe. It comes with fruit and marshmallows to dip. I thought it was a little overpowering towards the end. I think it was around $10.

Just saw a new review stating the new dessert is a puff pastry with custard filling and I think berries and whip cream check the food photo thread I think that is were I saw it.

I had what the previous poster mentioned. Had it in August 2006 and December 2006. I thought it was really good.

We had the chocolate fondue in 05. It was sooo yummy. In fact, the whole meal was. Then they decided to change back to the "original" menu due to popular demand, I believe. I really like the "original" (current) menu just fine, but I miss the chocolate fondue. Wish they'd bring it back!

Just got back this past weekend and ate at the Garden Grill. The dessert is the pastry with the custard, whipped cream and berries. It was sooo good. The kids decorated their own cupcakes with whipped cream, candy confetti and m&m's. Very good!! My husband said he was too full and almost wanted to pass on the dessert. He ended up eating the whole thing cause it was DELICIOUS!!

ooo I love the sound of the newest dessert. I'm eating there on Sunday!!

We had that last September on our last day at lunch. It was pretty nice, but not awesome. The burgers we had before it were awesome though. :thumbsup2
