Okay - I'm new to this topic but any support I can garner will certainly be appreciated.

Any way I would love to lose 100 lbs. by my next trip which is in April. I know that is a lot.

I joined WW last week and had my first weigh in tonight. Lost 4.6 lbs.

I sometimes have a difficult time - I can't do diet sodas or fat free milk. Never was a breakfast eater but by 10 had my second Pepsi with a bag of potato chips.

I have never eaten so many fresh fruits and vegetables in my life as I did this past week. Figured I would start in the summer when my favorite fruits are in season - love watermelon, cherries, plums peaches and cantaloupe. Also am doing a lot of grilling instead of frying.

I have made a promise to myself that I will post every week - successes or failures.

Sounds like you're off to a good start. Don't forget about water - very important to drink lots. Also if you incorporate some exercise into your day, that will kick start weight loss, too. Believe me, there are TONS of great ideas on these boards for how to do that. Keep journaling - it really helps to have a place to record the highs and lows. I have received lots of support from people here and it has helped me not to quit when things were difficult.

WW is a great way to go. I love to go to the grocery store in the summer and see all those watermelons, cherries, etc. Your body will love you for eating all those fruits and veggies. I can sympathize with you about potato chips. I love them but I know they are bad for me. You can do it!
 
Lost 3 pounds this week - I was dreading getting weighed. Think I need a new scale - can get on minutes apart and there is a 5-6 lb. difference.
