Err strange question to ask but my mate is very fond of chinese food and heard that there was a chinese restuarant at Val d'europe. Does anyone know if this is true and how on earth we get there bearing in mind neither of us speak much french!! I know the train is only one stop away but whats to stop us getting on the wrong train?!!:rotfl2:

There is one (I've been researching!) and it's called Le Dragon d'Europe (The Dragon of Europe). As for getting there, I haven't a clue! Sorry I can't help more!

The thing that stops you getting on the wrong train is that Marne is the end of the line so all trains only go one way out!

So you get off the train at Val de europe and exit the station (up the stairs, through the barrier and out the main sliding doors)
Straight ahead of you is this place http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj212/rhcrawshaw/DLRP Jan 2008/ValdeEurope2-1.jpg
and the chinese is just to the right of this if I recall correctly as you are stood looking at it.

yummmy!! i love chinese food.
Hope you find it ok, and let us know what it was like if you go :)

This thread gave me a right yen for a chinese, so my DBF has bought me one tonight! Yay!

Sorry, I know I went slightly :offtopic: there!

Ohh thanks for that, mate will be very pleased!! And glad to know we can't really get on the wrong train! :rotfl:

The trains have an electronic board beside them with the destinations and they are lit up if they stop at the stop you want. Its RER line A.

We go to the Dragon d'Europe restaurant regulary, they have a very cheap menu (about 14 EUR) which is great, but you can have other menus or eat a la carte too. I always have spring rolls, beef with onions and fruit beignets. I love it!

Hi!

The Chinese restaurant is quite good and reasonable priced. Just take the RER A from the Disneyland train station (also called "Marne la Vallee - Chessy"). The next stop is Val d'Europe.
When you exit the station, you just have to go in and through the shopping mall. The food court and the Chinese is at the other end of it.

Be sure to take the RER in the right direction when you are returning. But don't worry, they have plenty of signs which say "MLV - Chessy (Disneyland)".

I am not sure if I get you right, ruthiebabie. But I think the "Chinese" you remember is only the "take away" at the train station. The Dragon is actually a Chinese restaurant inside the mall.

Greetings, Wuzefelix

We've eaten at the chinese inside the mall several times and always had great food and good service - it's well worth a visit :)
