Day 3 continues



I forgot to mention that ALL the Cheerleaders were coming into the Studios at 7:45 am sooo the gates were not open for us !!! AS it turned out this worked to my advantage !!! CUZ once they started letting us in there was NOT the huge rush for TSM and I was in the first batch to ride TSM that morning !!! As Jordan would say MOJO working !!! I of course got a FP for later actually 9:50 am !!! I mosed around til Great Movie ride opened at 9am and was in the first batch there too!!( MOJO)
I know Dawn you don't like GMR !!!
Then it was off to Voyage of the Little Mermaid !!! Which is really cute !!

It was now time for TSM second time !!! I am not very good at it BUT I love trying !!!

I had checked on something at Animation and headed back there to be in time for YES another FIRST batch for drawing a character !!! I have to find my artistry which I am very proud of !! So I won't tell ya who I drew till I find the pix !

Oh good I found it !!! I took it a day or two after in my room !!! I was o proud I sent a pix by phone to Judy !!! This is from the original Stick people artist!!

Lunch was at Fairfax Fare !!! It was truly delish !!

I took pix 2 ways so you can get the full effect I had the chicken and Brisket combo with carrot cake !!! It was tender juicy and delightful!!! I highly recommend this new CS at DHS !!! I think it is gonna be more popular once word gets out !!! Oh maybe I shouldda said it was HORRIBLE!!!!

My drawing skills are NON existant !!!! Sooo you can tell how good the instructor was !!!

great update. holy mojo, batman....you got a lot done that morning! you're right, i call it "the lame movie ride." i just think it's boring. but i know i'm in the minority. and i LOVE the animation academy! not enough people take the time to do it. it's so fun!

I wish it was bigger.....and you're right about CS locations at DHS, but I'm gonna make another pass at a few the next time I'm there.

Hi Rosie, I am so glad that you ate at fairfax and enjoyed it. We were looking for a lunch place but have heard mostly bad reviews of most cs spots at the studios. Your food looks good. Being a BBQ person, I always try new places everywhere we go. I love TSM. It is so fun and I think you actually have more control than at Buzz. It feels like it anyway. What a great morning you had1

Mmm... that does look like a great meal! A lot like Flame Tree by the looks of it!

Yay for being in teh first wave of TSM! Sometimes having something not go as planned can certainly be a great thing!

I was playing airfare roulette...it ate up most of my day!

GREAT drawing, I so want to do that on our trip. Looks like there may be one at DCA so I'm going to check on that next month.

That lunch does look good, I'll need to remember that. DHS was in dire need of good CS.

I actually prefredd FF to FTB !! The sides are the same but the brisket was absolutely delish!!! Maybe Cherie and DJ can comment as later inthe week they tried it too!!

Farifax Fare is right across the street from the Beauty and The Beast entrance. It used to be the place where McDonalds fast food was sold. I really enjoyed the food there. Everything was great.
