Day Six Tuesday 19th September

Mike Goes with the flow
Today was the day Id been waiting, we were off to the Magic Kingdom! YEAH!
The opening ceremony had already started when we arrived so we watched the end of that then charged over to Space Mountain to ride that first. Then I said I wanted to ride Buzz but went to the Astro Blasters by mistake! Found the correct ride and Mike beat me. Doh!
Next it was Splash Mountain which I LOVE!
Then Big Thunder Mountain. We also rode the Jungle cruise, Haunted Mansion, Pirates 
, saw Philharmagic and had our picture taken with the Genie. Plus I bought my first Pin, Eeyore.
Around 2pm I told Mike I wanted to get a Dolewhip as you lot had said how nice they were, now DBF thinks your all mad
(which is good for me as it makes me look sane), so was a bit dubious but he want along with me. I ordered my pineapple float not really sure what I was going to get but I loved it and Mike seemed to like it even more than me!
Around 2.30pm we headed to Main Street to get good spots for the parade and decided on the middle of the square. After a bit it started to rain but only slightly and Mike asked if I wanted to move but I wanted to stay, then it started to get heavier so out came the umbrella but I still stayed put, next however it started to thunder so we made a run for the covered pavement.
Just before 3pm they sent out the chosen families in the cars but at 3pm they cancelled the parade
so we headed into the shops as hordes of people left the park. While we were in the shops we heard this huge crash, and someone said lightening had hit the train station. The rain stopped so we decided to head back to the hotel and have a swim then come back later.
When we returned we parked at MK but got the Monorail over to Epcot. It started to rain again so I gave in a bought a poncho.
Mike bought me a necklace in Mexico that Id seen on our first day plus the matching bracelet for our anniversary
, the salesgirl tried to get us to buy the earrings as well until I pointed out my ears werent pierced. We decided to eat in China and had a lovely meal; I had the sweet n sour and Mike the pepper beef.
We realised we werent going to make it back to MK for the fireworks as wed planned and as it was still raining decided not to stay for the ones at Epcot so we just headed back to the car and then the hotel.
