Thursday 31st March
The hotel walls are pretty thin so we hear a lot of banging doors but we still manage a lie in. We don't bother with breakfast and instead opt for an early lunch down by the wharf where we grab a bus to. We go into the bakery/cafe we saw yesterday. I get shrimp cocktail in a bread bowl and DH gets half a chicken pesto roll with clam chowder.
We start to head in the direction museum stopping to pick up a shake from Ben & Jerry's along the way but realise its too far to walk so jump on the bus. However the bus gets onto a bypass and sails pass where we want to get off and we end up at the bridge.

We aren't sure if there is another bus that takes us where we want to go so we decide to set off walking instead. Its a pretty hot day but we've got drinks with us so its not too bad a first but then we aren't sure if we are going in the right direction as we seem to be going through a construction site and then the we come to a sign that says the trial is closed. We aren't sure which way to go but luckily a street cleaner comes along and gives us directions. In all it takes us about an hour to walk there which in the heat felt like a really long time. We really enjoyed the museum and where there about 3 hours, it covers everything to do with Walt Disney, only one photo sadly as photography is not allowed inside.
We spot a restaurant so decide to eat there before trying to work out how to get back to our hotel. I get beef bourguignon, but when it comes its like no beef bourguignon i've had before, its a beef pie, its very nice but very small though. DH gets chicken with mushroom sauce. For pudding I have creme brulee and DH has lemon meringue pie. Service is very very slow but its good to have a sit down. We find another bus stop and catch 2 busses back to our hotel. DH goes on the hotel PC to do some more new job related stuff. We watch Seinfield then channel surf a bit and find a saucy film on the cartoon network but all the rude bits are censored with black squares. I write up my trip notes and then its bedtime.
