Friday 8th April
We get up and DH faffs about so I write up my trip notes we then head to the Disneyland Main St bakery for breakfast. I get a choc chip muffin and apple juice, DH goes for a blueberry muffin and a coffee. First stop is FPs for Space Mountain, we get a return time of 1:25pm. We queue up for the matterhorn which doesn't have FP, its quite a long queue but needs must. Next up is the Nemo submerine which we haven't done before then Buzz, i'm useless as normal. Indy is next, it had been closed earlier but its now open, we grab FPs and are about to join the queue as the wait time shoots up to 45 mins so we head to the haunted mansion instead.
We grab a quick lunch, chicken nuggarts for us both before onto Pirates then its time to use our Space Mountain FPs, this is new to us as it was closed last time we were here. DH insists we go and watch Captain EO tribute 3D show next then we use our Indy FPs followed by Jungle Cruise which we have a really good captain for. We try to go on Big Thunder Mountain but its closed so we walk through fantasyland and the castle. I spot Sleeping Beauty so get a photo. We look in the gallery then exit the park.
We go to DTD, I get some pins, DH gets some new sunglasses, and then we do our big WoD store shop. Back at the hotel DH watches some golf and I write up my trip notes. At this point my notes end so I may get a little bit vague. We go to Mimi's Cafe to eat, we share some sliders to start then I think I have pot roast and DH pasta, decide for yourself from the photos...
We head back to Disneyland and pull up some floor to wait for Fantasmic, DH gets me some hot chocolate and we share some popcorn, its pretty cold. After the show we run to the front of the castle to watch the fireworks but because its so crowded its hard to tell where we are, as they go off I realise we aren't as far centred as I thought and a tree is blocking my view, so I slowly edge more and more to the centre but it spoilt my viewing of the fireworks somewhat. We may have then gone on Big Thunder Mountain in the dark but we def went to a sneek peak of Pirates 4 before leaving the park.
