It is going to be only 10 degrees warmer in WDW than it is in Calgary tomorrow....brrr I was reading they are closing Typhoon Lagoon because it is so cold.

Yep, I just had someone come back and they said it was *gasp* too cold to ride Splash Mountain. Oh the horror!

That's just not right. Here's hoping that it warms up and FAST for those of you heading down!!

I'm heading down there in two weeks. I was thinking it's so chilly that Canadians would have Typhoon Lagoon all to ourselves. That's no good if they close it!

We always laugh at the folks who shiver when it is in the 60's -70's. Heck we just left temps around -5 c.

I've been there where we've had to wear our winter coats. The photos look pretty funny...one day we're in t-shirts and the next day we're bundled up. I remember waiting for Spectromagic in Liberty Square and the longest lineup was for hot coffee and hot chocolate.

I love going to WDW for the Christmas decorations but I think the next time I'll go, I'm gonna go when it's a tad warmer.

Actually I am glad to know. Since we are taking our first trip I need to have realistic expectations. If it is chilly I will be prepared for it in February. It is supposed to be a high of -18 by Saturday in Calgary so anything is looking good right now!

You should hear my relatives in Texas. They phone here as soon as it drops 5 degrees....OOOOH IT IS SO COLD.....Must be ANOTHER Alberta Clipper again! We hear it ALL the time! Sometimes we get a warm front off the pacific in the winter and they call it the pineapple express!
