Child's TS credit question

We are heading to Disney in June this year. We are on the regular dining plan and my DS(6) doesn't like regular "kids" food for every meal. At this point we are planning to share our TS meal with him so that he isn't stuck with "chicken nuggets". I know that we will end up with a lot of child's TS meal credits at the end of our trip. Are we able to convert these to 3 snack credits the same way that you can convert adult TS credits?

TIA!

There are also several reports I have read where some TS locations will give your child a child sized portion of an adult entree if you explain the situation. Not steak or anything but if they have a pasta he wants to try, they may give him a child sized portion of that

Thanks for this information!! I will definitely ask and see what they say.

I’ve never heard a report like that, and I would never expect it. The adult meals are much more expensive and costly. We do frequently see reports of people ordering an adult-size of a kids menu item. Some 12 year olds want a plate full of chicken nuggets and Disney seems to be fine with that; essentially trading down. But I haven’t seen one report of trading up like you describe.

You do have the option of aging him up and buying the adult plan for him
You would need an adult ticket too, but just an option

Buffets or aycte might be your best bets. He can eat whatever he wants and you use the credits

A ts meal can be dropped to a qs meal. This should work for a child's too?

I also have never heard of a small adult plate option.
