Child's old ticket with days left

Should I even bother to take the time to trade in my DD10's old hopper with 2 plusses still on it when we go to a water park this December, or just let her go in using the ticket she started when she was 7? I know they won't charge her anymore to continue to use it, I just didn't know if it was necessary to take the time to change it in. Thanks for your answers.

The general recommendation, even from some CM's, is for your child to try the ticket as-is first. This usually works when your child looks not too many years over 9.
