It looks like a lot of the CS at the parks only offer sugar free Jello for kids dessert.:crazy2:

If you are on DDP, can you order your child a kids lunch/dinner but substitute a "real" dessert for the Jello???

Thanks

That is no longer the case. Most places also offer pudding or a cookie.

Substitutions are subject to the manager's discretion, but generally, for the super-low-priced child meals, guests are limited to the options offered, though pixie dust sometimes grants special requests on occasion.

It's just recently that I noticed they were offering chocolate pudding at some of the CS in Epcot as an option.

I don't think you'll be able to get the same dessert the adults are offered, though...unless you ask and they allow the substitution.

We were at WDW 5/25 to 6/2, and my kids didn't get any jello. At Pop, they got the same dessert we did (tye-dye cheesecake in our case). At Pizza Planet, they didn't have a kids menu, and I have no clue what dessert we had. At El Pirata el y Perico, they got a cookie, but they ended up with an ice cream too, the same as DH and I, and at the Cantina de San Angel, they got a churro the same as adult. I don't remember what else they had, but I know there was no jello.
