They'll be performing at Sea World-San Diego on April 14th and 15th, 2006:

http://www.swc-parkevents.com/spring/hi-5.htm

They performed at SW Orlando not too long ago, and according to Hi-5's official website, they're supposed to be there on April 22nd, but I haven't seen anything about it on the on the official SW Orlando website.

On the calendar they send to pass holders .......Hi-5 will be there April 22.

Clifford the Big Red Dog will be there April 12 and 13.

Here are the times and location for Hi-5's performance at Sea World-San Diego:

Location: Breakers Stage in the Main Gate area of the park

Times: 4:30pm, 6:00pm and 7:30pm.

Each show is approximately 20-30 minutes.

I took my DD6 up to Busch Gardens to see Hi-5 last Saturday -- she's a big fan of the "hip" kids show. The performance lasts about a half-hour. What I really liked about it is that it's surprisingly free of cheesy special effects, etc. The 5 performers simply come out and give an energetic presentation with singing, dancing and a few skits to tie things together. Kids in the audience are encouraged to stand up and dance. I don't know how they will set things up in Sea World, but at Busch Gardens it was necessary to get a separate ticket for the show because of space limitations. The tickets are free with admission to the park and they were handing them out at the main entrance. Also, we were a little disappointed that they didn't offer a "meet and greet" after the show, but it was still definitely the highlight of the day for my daughter.

Thanks rejobako for the report on Hi-5! My dd's are looking forward to seeing them on the 22nd at Sea World!

Here's some info for whoever is interested in seeing the show-SW web site says: Show will be held at the Seaport Theatre April 22nd @ 9:30, 11:00, & 12:30. OK and I have a question :).....Does anyone know if we need to get a wristband or separate ticket beforehand & if so from where?

DD wants to see this too, we have CRT ressies at 8:00am, so we will be making a made dash back to SW for 12:30. I have had the CRT ressies for months, but she wants to see Hi-5 more!!

Last week when Clifford was there you had to get a wristband - they had the booth outside of the Nautilus Theater where that one was held, so I am making the assumption that you will probably get the wrist band somewhere close to the Seaport Theater for Hi-5.

My sister took her boys to see Hi-5 the last time they were at Sea World. There weren't wrist bands or tickets or anything. You just showed up at the Pets Ahoy theater and if you got in you got in and if not you could stand in line and wait for the next show. They let the kids go up front and adults in the back... wondering if they will do it the same way again this time.

We are going up there this weekend, the girls are very excited to see Hi-5 in person... will let you all know how it goes.

They performed last weekend at Sea World San Diego and all the kids watching the show had a FANTASTIC time! Those of you heading to SW Orlando for their performances are in for a special treat!

BTW, here's a link to a video of the group performing their newest song, "Some Kind of Wonderful" on a local San Diego morning show (before their SW performance):

Enjoy!

I hope the last show is not full tomorrow... we have 8:55 ADRs at MK, and then will head right to SW. I'm hoping for the 12:30 show! Good if no wrist bands... that makes things less complicated!

Did anyone else get to see Hi5 yesterday? We went to the 12:30 show. (We originally planned on seeing the 1st show @ 9:30...got there a little after 9 & the theatre was already Full!) We decided to ride some rides & also see the Sea Lion & Otter show while we waited for the next show to start. When we went back for the 2nd show (we were there aprox. 30-45 mins. early....the line was Super long & we wouldn't have made it into the theatre. Ugh-it was getting frustrating!) We decided to take a quick break for some smoothies & also a trip to the bathroom (sorry, I'm sure you didn't need to hear that!) We decided that if we wanted to see the last show then we had better get in line EARLY & wait (I think, people were just staying in line...If they didn't make it into the prior show...they stayed & waited for the next one to start. Wow! -- Lots a waiting!) So, We got in line an hour early for the 12:30/final show. There were Already A Lot of people waiting of course. Then w/in the next 10 mins. or so I noticed that the line started getting longer & Longer behind us....I'm glad we got in line when we did! I'm sure that there were WAY more people who didn't get to see the show, yesterday, than people who did! Sad! I think SW should have definately had Hi5 there for more than one day!

As far as the show goes: It was Super Cute! I thought my dd's would've been "dancin' machines"....as it turns out they enjoyed just watching & singing along the most! Our fav. was their song....where they sing "close your eyes & count to 10 ready or not I'm gonna find you again" & also when they say "five"(i think) & the kids yell back "HI5"....that was Fun! (I enjoyed watching my daughter yell back "Hi5" as Loud as she could w/her hands cupped around her mouth.) Hi5 also sang one of their new songs & showed the dance that went along with it. All in all it was a Great show & I'm glad that we decided to wait in that Crazy line to see it. Sooooo did anybody else get to see it? What did you think?

Oh by the way, while we were in line waiting we noticed something pretty sad....a lady & her son snuck up in front of some of us in line & found an open area and just got in line there. Another lady in line informed one of men from the SW staff about the lady that "cut" & pointed her out & can you believe....He didn't say A thing to her! I was surprised & shocked to see that he didn't tell her to go back to the end of the line or anything! He just told the lady that had "ratted her out" that they would be letting everyone in the theatre w/in the next 15 mins. Oh well, We didn't let it ruin our time or anything BUT it did urk us!

We went to the 9:30am show! We got in at 8:40ish and headed right to the theater. There were about 20 people in line in front of us. We got to go in around 9:10ish and we sat in the first row behind the 2 rows of handicapped which people who came in 5 minutes before the show ended up getting, LoL. But we had fantastic seats and right when they came out to start the show, it was a kiddie rush to the stage so my girls got to stand right at the stage right in front of them for the whole show. They had seen Hi-5 on tv a few times but really didn't know much about them but I tell ya they are obsessed now. And I have to admit they are very very cute, catchy songs and cute skits and all. I agree WeLoveDisney, my fav is "close your eyes". My dh bought them the dvd when we got out of the show and our new van has a dvd player. So guess what we watched every time we were in the car the rest of the weekend and alllllll the way home from Orlando today? LoL.

We did not go - once we got to MK, DD decided that we would just wait until next year. I was glad, as I was concerned about getting there in time to get in line and make it into the last show!
