The recommended age is 11. From my past experience there is no issue when an older child wants to order off the children's menu. You may have to ask for a child's menu -- if child is older. Our DD's are 15 and they ask for a child's menu; sometimes they are not in the mood for a big meal after snacking all day.
Buffets are another story. Cut off is 11 for child and then they are charged an adult price.
Thanks for the information.....So an 11 year old is still considered a child at buffets? Or did you mean 11 is the cut off and 11 year olds are considered adults?
Just trying to clarify....DD kind of "grazes" all day long, never really consuming too much at one meal.
11 year olds are still considered children at the buffets. We just returned from a trip with our DS 11. We did a couple buffet/ family style meals. At 12 they become "ADULTS" for meals. That's better that the 10 when they become "ADULTS" for tickets. DS still eats children menu stuff 99% of the time. Once in a while he will share a meal with me.
