Children's Airline travel chair in the UK - great invention

This is a link to information about a travel chair for children with disabilities in use in the UK. It fits into the regular airline seat to adapt it or children with disabilities.
I had seen a short article about it before, but this one gives a lot of detail and a video.

It also says they ar working on getting FAA approval, which would mean it could be used in the US.

Are there restrictions to where I can use the TravelChair on an aircraft?

Yes. The TravelChair can only be used in aircraft seats where there is no passenger sat directly behind. Aircraft seats that are located directly in front of a bulkhead are the primary locations for using the TravelChair i.e. with the bulkhead directly behind the passenger. This will depend on the type and configuration of the aircraft. A bulkhead is an upright wall within the fuselage of the aircraft that can divide the cabin into multiple areas.

You may sit next to your child but any passenger with restricted mobility using the TravelChair cannot be seated in an aisle seat or emergency exit row. Please speak to your airline to arrange and confirm your seating allocation at the earliest opportunity and at least 48 hours before your flight to ensure the necessary seats are available.

There won't be seats in front of a bulkhead on a lot of planes, except the last row, or in the last row of at least a 2 class cabin, which would be a higher fare business or first class seat.

I wonder if this will ever get FAA approval?
