Children under 3 - eat free?

I keep hearing this, and am wondering EXACTLY what it means? Obviously, no charge at a buffet for an 18 mo, but what about other TS places? Can I order her something from the kids menu at no charge? Or does she have to always share with me, dad or her sister? Some casual places near home have a "free" basket of food for little ones under 5 with a paying adult - they don't advertise it but the servers will often mention it. Usually just chicken fingers and fries or such, but a smaller amount, just for her.

Anyone know this answer to this one! Thanks! :goodvibes

From my expierence, buffets were free, at TS they could share our meal and not have to pay. If we ordered them a kids meal we had to pay.

From what I understand, they can eat off of your plateor get a plate at a bufffet. The portions are usually large so it is not going to be a problem for us. Our dd is 2 and she is a good eater, but will eat off of our plate or share with her big sister. HTH! :)

yup, disney doesn't give much away free...they either need to share or you need to pay OOP for their meals.

We did always order milk for dd1 (and a drink for dd3) and they never charged us for the extra drink for dd1.
