Hi,

Has anyone done the babysitting at the Children Activity Centers (Camp Dolphin (Swan), Simba's Cubhouse, Lilo's Playhouse, Sandcastle Club or Cub's Den)? Did your kids enjoy? Did you feel they were safe?

My daughter has visited sand castle club several times each year since she is five. She is now nine. She loves going there--- there's usually between 8-14 children and there's a good combination of organized activity and the ability to play on there own ( Color, puppet shows, video games).

My kids have been to all except the Grand Floridian. Love them. Always felt safe and fun. And, nice for me and husband to get a night out to get some adult beverages and a quiet meal!

We used the one at the Polynesian 2 years ago... It was very safe and clean, In fact so safe that when I asked if I could just look around, maybe snap a couple pics in there since my son was the 2nd kid to show up they said NO... Nobody is permitted to go back there except the staff. It's nice because we didn't have to use a dining credit food was provided, the kid vs staff ratio was amazing when we picked him up there were plenty of staff playing with the kids at each station.. During drop off they introduced my son to the other child so your kid dosnt have to feel left out, & you don't have to worry about them playing alone unless they ask to. I would highly recommend it, he had a great time.

My DS8 has gone to the Sandcastle Club and Lilo's Playhouse a few times and loves them! We always felt he was safe and well taken care of.

On my son's first trip to Disney when he was 5, we asked what his favorite part of WDW was, he would always say the place with the people in yellow shirts....took us a while, but eventually we figured out he meant Simba's Cubhouse! He's been there and Lilo's Playhouse, as well as the one for the DVC presentation, and he loved all three of them. Very safe, very clean, and they do a great job of entertaining the kids.

Our son has been to Lilo's 3 times now. He's 10 now. On our trip a couple of weeks ago, I asked if he wanted a babysitter at the hotel or go to the kid's club. He chose the club. He started going when he was 6. I wouldn't hesitate to send him there.
