I'm sure one of you knows the answer...

My son will be turning 10 a few days into our trip. Will he be considered a 9 year old in terms of menu choices for the entire trip because he was 9 when we checked in, or will he be able to order from the adult menu once he turns 10?

Thanks

He will be still considered a child for your whole trip. This includes DP and ticket.

If you want him to have adult DP, you could always have Disney change his age to 10 and pay to upgrade his park ticket and DP (as long as you are from the United States and not on an international flight).

OR you can just keep him as 9 and plan lots of buffets or all-you-can-eat so he can get a nice variety without needing to pay for the upgrade. For counter service, you can try to find the few places that don't have a kids meal so he can get an adult meal.
