How exactly does the child switch work? DD7 won't ride roller coasters. DD10 will and both DH & I do. Would DD10 b able 2 ride 2 times in a row with each of us while the other stays with DD7?

If the child is tall enough to ride, you might or might not be able to do the swap, depending of the CM's at the ride.

Basically, but it won't be "in a row". When we utilized it last year it went like this: my son and I got in line and told the CM at the entrance we needed a rider swap (my husband had to be with us to get the swap pass). He stayed with my oh gets whole we rode. After we got off, my husband and son went in the fastpass line and ride the ride. Hope that helps!

You have maybe a 30% chance of this working at any given ride. The program is for babies that aren't tall enough to ride, not others who don't want to ride. Many CMs require you show them the infant in order to get the pass.

I have been using child swap for years with my kids (first with DS8 and now with DS1). 95% of the time, the required the little one to come up to the entrance and they definitely looked at him to make sure he wasn't tall enough. We didn't like crowding up the entrance area while others were pushing past while the CM dug around for the swap pass, so sometimes we had the stroller and non-rider off to the side a bit. They always asked to see him. You may get lucky, but most likely be prepared to not get a swap pass.

I would suggest booking FP+ for all 4 of you on the ride. Then DH & DS go through with FP+. Then when they get off, have DS use DD's Magic Band to go back through with you. Basically will work the same as using the Child Swap pass.
