can anyone suggest somewhere suitable for 4 adults and 4 kids (youngsters) to have a meal on an early sat evening near the bullring or mailbox !

Nat - the Figure of 8 on Broad St - I think is a Wetherspoons and we have dined in there with the kids before Disney on Ice, they were all very accomodating to Shelby's demands! The food was also pretty nice!
I can't think of anywhere else.

Nando's is a big favourite of mine and Pauls and that's in the Bull Ring too :thumbsup2
 

There is a TGI Fridays about 5 minutes drive from the city centre.
 
if the brasshouse on broad st,allows children in,i would give there a go.i'm from wales & went shopping to birmingham,a few weeks ago.we went into the brasshouse & it was really nice.looked like it had just had a re-furb.
