Child/Baby Swap

Can anyone explain to me more about the baby swap? When we travel there will be 4 adults and only one baby. Will one couple get to stay with baby while the other couple rides, then switch?

please know that not all rides do child swap.

I was wondering the same thing the other day and came across this site. Not sure how accurate it is, but gives the rides that use it etc.
