I have five pounds of these things...
I need to make them tomorrow...
anyone have any EASY way to make them?
Can I use honey mustard salad dressing for the coating?

I'd like to do half hot wings and the other half something else...
TIA.....barb:goodvibes

I love sweet thai chili wings. All you have to do is buy a bottle of sweet thai chili and coat the wings in them and cook in the oven. They are awesome!

I've got a sweet hot recipe for you:

1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup chile sauce
1 tblsp soy
1 tblsp wostershire (sp?) sauce
1 tsp dry mustard powder
1/4 cup chopped onion.
1/4 tsp cayenne or more to taste (depends upon how hot you like them).

Mix together in a bowl

Put chicken in a large bowl or zip loc, add sauce, stir or shake to coat.
Pour in 9 x13 pan. Cook until chicken is done (follow internal temp directions on package) in 350 degree oven.

I usually use this with drumsticks and cook for about 45 minutes but it works with any type of cut up chicken, I've also done with thighs and breasts and full cut up chicken- I'm not sure of timing on wings. It's amazingly yummy.

I've cooked wings in the crock pot with good results. I've used BBQ sauce and on other occasions hot sauce. Turns out great. I like mine crispy so once they're done, I'll run them in the oven for about 20 min, after I've coated them again with the sauce I've used. Easy. Flavorful. :)

Here's another recipe for you to try if you like. my kids LOVE this one.

Sweet & Spicy Sticky wings

1/3 cup Red Pepper Jelly
1/3 cup Honey
1/3 cup Dijon style Mustard

Mix ingredients together.
Coat wings
lay wings skin side down on parchment lined cookie sheet.
bake in 400' oven for 25-30 minutes flipping once (until fully cooked)
if you want them a little crispier, put them unter broiler for a couple of minutes!

we bake them and just add Franks hot sauce at the end.

Season with salt, pepper, then bake. Toss in Honey BBQ Sauce. I put mine back in the oven for 5-7 minutes, to help the sauce stick to the wings.

My mom likes crispy wings so she just seasons them with seasoning salt.

If you can grill the wings here is a great recipe:

Ingredients
3 pounds chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded
1 cup Louisiana-style hot sauce
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle cola-flavored carbonated beverage
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Directions
Preheat a grill to medium heat.
In a large pot, mix together the hot sauce, cola, cayenne pepper, black pepper and soy sauce. Simmer the sauce until it thickens. Remove 1/2 of the sauce and add the wings to marinate for at least 30 minutes - frozen is okay.

Use tongs to fish wings out of the sauce, and place them on the grill for 8 to 10 minutes. When the chicken is tender and pulls easily off of the bone, you have two options. You can pour the remaining sauce over the wings for sloppy style wings, or serve right off the grill for dryer wings and use the reamining sauce to dip.

Great with blue cheese to dip.

This is a favorite:

Chicken Wings

1/4 cup soy sauce
1 Tablespoon oil
3/4 Tablespoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Accent

Mix all ingredients and marinate chicken wings overnight. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees, turning once.

I just dump a bottle of soy sauce over them, and bake them at 375, turning them over every 20 minutes. It usually takes about 2 hours for fall off the bone wings. They go so fast when I serve them!

I think all good wings are deep fried....sure they are unhealthy but that is the way they have to bee cooked for me.

Deep fry the wings with only some salt and pepper on them
Follow the directions on Franks Hot Sauce which is simple....butter, salt, pepper and hot sauce I think

Dip the fried wings in the sauce put them on a cookie sheet and place them under the broiler for a few minutes.

They turn out great.

Our favorite for sweet sticky wings--comes out kinda like Ohanas

2 bottles teriyaki sauce
about 1 cup or so dark brown sugar
ginger sprinkled all over the top
about 2 cup water

I just dump it all in and turn to coat, pop it into the oven for about 2 hours at 350

We love to marinate them in balsamic vinegar and bake them with a little salt and pepper. They fall of the bones and are kind of sweet.

I cheat

I usually salt and pepper them and throw them on the grill. Then use sauce I ordered from defconsauces.com. They have 3 different heats Defcon 1(Hot) Defcon 2 (makes you sweat) and Defcon 3 (OMG hot).

I found them one day when I was looking up sauce recipes and since 2006 they have won 50 international awards including 6 Golden Chiles. I have been hooked ever since.
Just ordered 3 bottles last night for Superbowl Sunday

Really no substitute for deep fried wings! Our family likes em crispy. We have one of those wing cookers that hook to a propane tank so we always do them outdoors. Usually fry all kinds of stuff when we get it out like french fries, oreos, snickers, etc. Grilling is the next best way but not nearly as good. For the sauce try fresh garlic minced mixed in a stick of melted butter, it's awesome. Coats about 2 doz wings. For the hot ones we either use Franks, Texas Pete, or a wing sauce we find in a dollar store of all places name escapes me but it's Lousiana something. My favorite though is to mix the two together for a hot garlic sauce....unbelievable. For the oreos, snickers, etc........freeze the cookies or candy bars and then dip them in funnelcake batter.......fry them til they are golden brown, sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like.......WOW
