Chicken boy went on the thrill rides and begged to go again!!! **Updated 1/14!!)

So lets do a little refreshing and remind all my readers where we were when we left off.

We were on the bridge between Futureland and the Hub waiting for Wishes to start when we got the unexpected surprise of seeing MM&Y (definatly recomend it.)

As we were waiting we got to talking a little to a family with two young kids waiting next to us. It was there first time to Disney so I let them know that Tinkerbell starts out the show. Now this is our first time to see wishes and I know about Tinkerbell from the Dis and YouTube so I gave them bad information. I told them Tink goes to the castle and not from it. SORRY!!!!

That's Tink, really it is. Didn't get a great pic because I was looking the wrong way. Oh well maybe next time.

I tool a lot of shots of the fireworks but unfortunatly some didn't come out because by the time the shot was taking the firework display was gone. I tried on firework setting, but the castle lit up was messing with the setting and who wants to see a blury castle.

Well anyway. Here is Wishes!!!

There were a few more pics of the show, but who want to see a picture of the last flicker of light before a firework dies out. Not pretty at all. Hope you enjoyed the picture show of Wishes. It was a great show. The combination of music, lights, and fireworks was truely amazing. Liam also enjoyed it a was very happy we saw it.

After Wishes we waited a few minutes for the crowd to die down a bit and made our way to the the Curb to stake out a place for MSEP. We were sitting right by a horse pole when Liam noticed that someone had forgot a Mickey hat sitting on top. It was definatly for a little girl and it was personalized with her name. I was just telling Liam we should flag down the next CM that came by when a frantic man ran up and started thanking us for finding his daughters hat. I was just glad that we were able to help out.

As we waited for the parade to start, there was another showing for MM&M. Once again it was quite beautiful and yes it had me getting teary eye again.

We did have a lot of fun at Great America. We have season passes so you might find quite a few mini TR's of days there. Hope it doesn't get to boring. I love taking pics of the kids. I might be a little bias, but I think that they are just the cutest kids in the world. Even when they are being naughty.

Great photos of Wishes We didn't know anything about Tinkerbell when we went in '09 and she didn't even fly the first night we seen it (a bit too windy) so we were surprised to see her when we stayed and watched it a second time. My kids just loved it!

Oh no, hopefully your family wasn't to mad that they had to wait. I think being right 99% of the time is great. I just try to be so helpfull with all the infor I have learned to help people out. I guess I just need to learn when to be quite.

Welcome to the TR Moira222. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I love writing it. I gave my son the nickname chicken boy because he doesn't want to try anthing to fast or with two big of a fall to it. We went on hardly any thrill rides during his wish trip. He went on splash mountain but refused to go on it again. He at least tried this time, and you will see the outcome.

Thanks MARsMama. What a great surprise to see tinkerbell when you were not expecting her. It is definatly a cool to see tink flying from the castle.

So this next update is pictures of the Main Street Electric Parade.

As stated previously, we had snagged seats right on the street right after Wishes so we had good seats. Liam was sitting in his stroller, and I was on the curb. There was a family waiting next to us how asked how the crowds were leaving the park after the parade. I told them that alot of people do chose to leave at this time, but with EMH that it might not be as bad today. They elected to leave anyway and tool off 5 min before the parade started. The parade was incredible, the only problem I had was a little girl who kept stepping infront of my son. Her family got there about 10 minutes before the show and thought they had the right to push in front of my son. I finally had to tell the girl to step back so Liam could see. Her parents gave me glares but honestly I didn't care. She was standing up and could see fine over my sons stroller.

As other posters mentioned, GAC stands for Guest Assistance Card.

Thanks mtgirl. I had a lot of trouble with Tinks float because she is so dark compared to the float and I couldn't get a good one where I see here face. I am still not happy with it. And the one with Peter Pan and Hook. . .they just wouldn't stay still for me to take there pictures.:lmao:

Thanks for the nice comments MARsMama. There is alot about the parades that are the same, but than they are also very diffrent. Especially the music. I can't decide which I like more, they are both so great.

I really don't have much of a secret. I love my Nikon and it takes great pics. The only secret I might have it that I press the button down halfway and let the camera focus on the image and than press it all the way. It also seems to take the picture quicker when you do this. Ever take an action pic and by the time your camera captures it you lost it.

I have no problem speaking my mind when things like this happens. I am usually a pretty laid back person, but just don't cross me. And is it just me, but does it seem as if the people who try to cut infront of you either don't speak english, or play like they don't.

Love your pics of MSEP!! I feel so out of the loop! I've only been able to sneak on the DIS a little bit since we got back from our trip! I still haven't even started my TR! I wish I had been able to coordinate meeting up with you at the parks a couple times! It was great meeting you and Liam for the short time that we could!!
