Chicken boy went on the thrill rides and begged to go again!!! **Updated 1/14!!)

So lets move away from that PTR I've been writing and finish this TR.

The next morning we had a Ressie with Singledad at Chef Mickey's.

As you can tell we had a great time.

The food was alright, though I really did enjoy the cheese blitzes. Yum!!!
I thought the character interaction was great, though as I said before Liam is more of a give me a hug and take a picture kind of kid. He was happy to meet them, give them a squeeze, and than go back to eating.

After breakfast was done Singledad and I went on our seperate ways. I think he went to MK while we headed off to DAK!

Mmmmm.... That does sound delicious... I wonder if Disney will ship a cupcake? I am not sure I could justify another trip just to eat a cupcake, I am not even sure I could explain that to DH.

They were a crepe with a sweet cream cheese filling. Sooo good!

Yea I started a PTR about a month ago though I think this is the first time I mentioned it in my TR. The trip isn't until May of 2013 but I found I was never on here so I figured if I started a PTR I might be more inclined to come here and finish this TR.

Totally love the pictures! I didn't recall there being ketchup and mustard on Goofy's apron. I wonder if that's new (since our 2009 visit). Maybe I'm just not that observant. Who knows.

Oh, and seeing Singledad's DD reminded me ... I volunteered at the kids' school Friday in the Kindergarten Smart Gym. There was a little girl there who resembled his DD. A-dor-a-ble!

So after leaving Cheff Mickey's Liam and I took a bus from the Contemparary to Disney's Animal Kingdom.

We were making good time and arrived just after 9am and made a bee line down to Expedition Everest. Now this took a lot of persuasion on my part because Liam was really unsure of it. I remided him that he loved other things that he didn't want to try and absolutly loved them. I only asked for him to at least try it and if he didn't like it then I would never make go on it again.

Unfortunatly he didn't like it. The part where you go backwards in the dark scared him.

We than decided to head over to one of my favorite ride the Safari. But than found a spot where they were coloring masks so he decided to stop and get his coloring on.

With his mask done, we were off for our two week safari.

After the Safari ride we decided to look around the Pagani Trail. It was a nice area to leisurly walk around.

Can you see the apes in the last two pics, they were playing hide and seek.

After getting our fill of animals for awhile we decided to head over to Camp Minnie and Mickey.

Sorry again that I haven't been here in awhile. I have been planning a trip to WDW. That's right, I am going a lot sooner than I expected. I am going in March.

So Back to our TR.

We were on our way to Camp Minnie and Mickey. But on our way, guess who we ran into.

So on our way again, but we happen to find someone else along the way.

So after seeing these to we were back on our way to Camp Minnie and Mickey.

I couldn't help but snap a picture of this.

Totally love the character photos! You saw a ton at AK!!!! WOW!! We've never done the M&M greeting trails. Maybe in March.

So since we were already in the area, we decided to watch the FotLK. This will always be my favorite ride at WDW. It was even better since Liam was chosen to be the voice of the Lion Side.

Funny thing was when he was introduced to the crowd, the preformer told everyone that he was only 4 years old.

So when I was reviewing my pictures at home I notices alot of orbs in my pictures at FotLK. So either there was a lot of dust floating around (understandable with the powder they used for the acrobatics) or the theatre is haunted.

Next we went over to Flame Tree BBQ. Sorry I didn't take any pics. I had the ribs and Liam had the drum stick meal. The food was very good, but next time I think I will get the pulled pork.

Next we went to the Finding Nemo show. Sorry no pictures again, I took a video but I am having trouble trying to figure out how to do videos.

We than headed over to the Boneyard so I could relax while Liam played around with some other kids.

We than headed to Kali River Rapids and got soaked, but it was so hot outside that we didn't care.

We than decided to head out and back to Pop. On the way out Liam fountain and got soaked. I wish I took a picture of that.

Next up, we change at Pop and head down to DTD.

Love the pictures, Corrine! FTBBQ is my favorite eatery at AK, so I'm sad we'll be missing it next month! The pulled pork is YUM, and I don't even like BBQ!

So it's getting harder and harder to get back here and finish this TR, so I am vow to get it done before my trip that starts a week from today.

First let me start with a couple of pics that I missed from DAK. This was from the end of one of the trails. A CM was talking about the tigers and took out this cast of a foot print.

So we headed back to our room, Liam did a quick cloths change and we were off to DTD. We had dinner reservations for T-Rex. Since we were cutting it close to the reservations we headed straight there vowing to catch a few things latter.

Liam got the dino shaped nugget and really enjoyed them, I got the mushroom ravioli in lobster sauce and thought it was very good. At one point they brought me a ice cream desert with a cookie because I was still wearing my birthday buttom from earlier. I didn't have the heart to tell them that it wan't my birthday for over 2 months.

After dinner we headed to the Lego store. Liam loved it there and had a lot of fun playing with all the Lego stuff. He really wanted to buy something here but I told him he should save his money because he could buy the same lego at home and we did have room in our luggage for it.

At this point my camera batter died again so I was unable to take any more pictures. At this point we headed toward the Disney Store and started looking around. It was so crowded that at one point Liam wanted to show me something and I turned around and he was gone. I tried not to freak out and searched for him. After what seemed like an eternity (it was probably only 5 min) I anxiously asked the nearest CM I could find to. It was just about this time that they found him and we were reunited. I was so happy to have him safe and sound that I let him buy a PotC sword, spy glass, and a piece of candy.

It was getting late so we headed back to the busses but stopped at the pin store first and I bought the baby princess set for myself. I also bought Liam a Star Wars Pin.

We than went to the bus stop, waited for Singledad to show up (he forgot Liam's gift earlier at breakfast) and than was on our way back home. It had been a long day and we wanted to get up early the next day for Star Wars Weekend.

So I guess the best way to get this TR done is to keep plugging along. So here is Our last day.

So we woke that last day a little sad about it being our last day but still very excited to be going to Star Wars Weekend. Liam starts his treatment ans I pack everything up to check out. We than have a quick breakfast of poptarts and head to store our bags while we are gone. I make sure I grab the goodie bag for the family we are meeting who are going on a Wish trip.

We get there just after eight but find that the park is already open and look who has come out to greet us.

As soon as we got inside I realized that I made a mistake, the FP machines for autographs was outside the turnstyles. So I asked a CM what to do and he directed me to the right area. We really wanted to get one from Ray Parks (Darth Maul) but all the FP's were gone so we got one for James Arnold Taylor instead (the voice for Obie Wan Kenobie)

Going back into the bark I ask what he wants to do, and yes you guessed right he wanted to do ST again.

After our ride I finally gave into Liam and let him buy a make your own lightsaber. He chose the double one. We ended up having to tape the ends because they would come out and almost hit people.

After the ride we decide to head over and sign in for the Padawan Jedi Mind Challange but on the way I couldn't help but get a pic of Ray Parks.

We are unable to get a guaranteed spot for the challange, but we are the 3rd standby slot for the first challange and we are off.

We try to ride TSM again, but for some reason it is closed. So we head over to Jabba's hut to see what special things they have. The line is huge and I decide not to waste the day waiting to look in a store.

So what do we do next? We head to Tower of Terror. Liam waits in line with me but choses to wait at the exit with a CM instead of going on it. I Loooovvvveeed it. I wanted to do it again but could justify leaving Liam alone again. Plus it was almost time for our FP to get our autograph.

While we waited in line to get our autograph we meet a very nice man who was telling us about the diffrent things at the park that day. It turns out he had been there almost every single day. Soon it was are turn to meet James Armold Taylor.

He was such a nice man and since he does many voices in cartoons he kept changing his voice into the diffrent characters.

After our Autograph the man that we waited in line with showed us were to go to see the Behind the force show.

Look who we see, Mr James Arnold Taylor who introduces the host of the show. Liam is in the front so he sees him right away and says hi to him and calls him by name. Liam feels so special.

They ended up pulling this kid on stage who was absolutly hilarious.

After the show we are off again to our favorite ride ST. We grab lunch at Pizza Planet and head off to catch the parade.

So we go to find a place to sit for the parade and everything is full. So we find a spot by AIE and ask a CM if we see the parade hear and they say yes. So we sit down and eat our lunch.

While we are waiting we meet a couple of nice Jedi.

We than settle down because we see some people from the parade. Look its the 501

It was than that we realized we were only getting part of the parade. We did not see any specail characters or any stars. So we try to run to the stage to catch some of them getting off the stage.

So after the parade we head over to see if we can me in the challange. It looks like he would not be able to do it, but than they tell all the kids waiting to line up so we are in.

They were asked diffrent Star Wars questions and had to raise a hand to say if it was true or false. Liam got pretty close to the end but didn't no win. All the kids did get a Star Wars toy for participating. When Liam opened his toy he was a little upset that it was a girl. I tried to find a girl who wanted to trade but no one wanted to. Se we headed back to wear we signed up and asked if we could change. We were told they would do what they could and disappeared right away. A little while later he returned and said he found one (Liam requested Anakin) but told him to not open it right away. Of course as soon as we walked away Liam was opening it and inside was not only an Anakin Skywalker toy but also a Darth Maul Toy.

With toys in hand we headed to get in line for the Stars of the Saga show. At this point I had been trying to get a hold of the family I was supposed to meet all day. I was unable to get a hold of them and we were leaving soon so I gave some of the goodies in the bag to a boy that was playing with Liam in line.

I don't know his real name, but the older gentleman played Bobbo Fett and of course the other man is Ray Parks who played Darth Maul.

After the show it's just about time to leave, but one more ride before we go. What would that ride be? Why Star Tours of course. and if you are counting that brings are total to 7 ride on ST and a diffrent combination each ride.

It is now time to leave but before we do snap a couple of pics.

So sadly we head back to Pop and say goodbye to DHS. Liam makes a comment that he wishes we could stay for one more day so he could back to Epcot. He wants to ride TT and Soarin' again. "Me too, Liam. Me too."

So we use up the rest of our snack credits at Pop (liam got a cupcake and I got the tie dyed cheese cake), I buy a disney tote bad, and than we head off to wait for the ME back to MCO.

Liam finds something to occupy his time while waiting for the bus.

Doesn't this look just say it all.

Goodbye Pop, hope to see you again real soon.

So we get to MCO, do a little last minute shopping at the Disney Store, check out the Universal store, and have a nice dinner at Chick-Fil-A.

Soon we were back on our way home to Chicago. We were sad it was all over but filled with memories of our wonderful trip.

Totally loved your updates and pictures! So glad that Liam got some pixie dust with the SW toy! I would love to see SWW ... but I doubt that will ever happen ... even with my geeky SW-loving DH.
